Oh, we live. Yes, sir. I've been going on this week, man. A lot to talk about. Oh, my goodness. It's been a little bit.

It's been a busy week. It's been a busy week. We're a quarter of the way in. Okay. Speaking of that, would you expect us to be where we at right now, quarter in? I thought we was going to be undefeated or maybe took a loss to the Cowboys, but I wasn't expecting the Saints.

Yeah, the season doesn't feel like I thought it was going to feel. Right. But we're no worse for the wear, you know what I'm saying? We're 3-1 and we're moderately healthy. So, yeah, I feel like there's a lot of room for improvement. And we still got time to improve.

I'm not overly impressed with the quarterback play around the league. So I feel like as long as we can get something going, we're going to have very much of an upper hand in that category in most matc Lamar is a cut above, I think. Aside from Brock Purdy, aside from, you know what I'm saying, like some of the, obviously Patrick Mahomes right now, like it's not a lot of dudes. Like, Josh can be had. Like, he's just reckless. He gonna get you sometimes because he got a rocket on his arm.

He gonna get you sometimes because somebody gonna get behind you and he just gonna throw He gonna do that sometimes. But he gonna throw some picks too. He gonna throw that whole back. I ain't never seen nothing like that before. That's like a cartoon. Yo in the NFL, he's a 10 year vet.

He They saved this man in so many ways. Lamar ran into the referee, bro. I remember watching Lamar running to the referee. Referee couldn't get out the way. And they gave us a penalty. Oh, I remember that.

It was his first couple years. It was a couple years ago. It was a primetime game. They did that. I couldn't believe it. And then I watched Josh Allen throw the ball behind himself in the end zone.

What did they call? I didn't even see that. What did they call? You know they call incomplete. He's the new Brady. So he's the new Brady then.

Basically. He's the man. He's the one. He's the new Brady and then Mahomes had that a little bit. He's the one. He just can't beat nobody in no game that matters.

So he can't really be anointed like they want to annoy him. They just stole an MVP form. Otherwise, he wouldn't have no hardware. If they didn't give him one that didn't make no sense, he wouldn't have no hardware. That's the topic in itself. So if you wouldn't give it to Josh Allen that year, who would you have given it to?

It was Lamar's, bro. Thanks, Al. You ever heard? You ever heard? Four 40-plus touchdowns, four interceptions, 900 yards rushing. Bro.

Yeah, Lamont was first team all pro. Top it. 69% completion percentage. So it's not normal that the MVP or the league is rated to be on the bench. 4,000 yards. He had 4,000 yards. Normally the quarterback, the first team all pro in the MVP match. In no other year in NFL history has that not been the case.

Actually, Joe Montana and John Elway. I can't remember who won MVP and who got that other thing, but it was that year. It did happen before. It probably was a co-MVP. It wasn't a co-MVP. They used to do that sometimes.

One got MVP, one was the other thing. Offensive player of the year? Yeah. It happened that time. Okay. Now what year we talking about? 2025 right?

Yeah. Josh wasn't offensive player. 41 touchdowns and 900 yards. You're right. I mean to me honestly. You thought I was just swelling. You thought I was jus And three of them picks was off receivers' hands.

Through receivers' hands. It's no doubt about it. It was damn near a perfect season, bro. It's no doubt about it. Lamar and Josh should have been considered. But honestly, in my opinion, I think Saquon got robbed.

Because I believe that was the same year Saquon went off. Bro, just because you – Yeah, Saquon went off. He 2,000 yards. But no, he didn't get 2,000 yards. They did not chase the record. Only because he sat out during a Giants game.

And that was that prerogative. That was his priority. But the record didn't get broken. It wasn't a historic season. It doesn't feel like he was stolen from nothing. It wasn't historic, bro.

It wasn't historic. Does a running back have to have a historic season to win MVP? Because a quarterback don't have to have an historic season. If the quarterback has a historic season, then yes. But I'm saying a quarterback doesn't have to have an historic season. That's fine.

I'm not talking about that. If somebody has a historic season, if the running back has a historic season, but a quarterback has a historic season, then it ain't going to work. Lamar had a You're saying it's historic because of the yards, touchdowns, interceptions in rushing yards. And the QBR was top four. He up there, it's just Peyton and Aaron Rodgers. But also keep in mind.

Lamar's in different rooms as far as efficiency. Also keep in mind, MVP is not based just on stats. No, it's not based on stats only. It's also based on what you're doing with what you have. It was that one year, and it might have been Lamar's first What? Lamar had 200 yards and he led the league in touchdowns that year.

No, not that year. It's either the first year because he had 36 touchdowns the first year he won. Maybe it was the second time Dan Prescott had numbers, but Dan Prescott, down the stretch of the season, continued to not beat better teams. You couldn't get it to him. It's like he's not the MVP. He can't beat nobody good.

But what years did Lamar win MVP? 2019. And 2023. And 2024. 2019. And he should have won in 2024. All right, hold up. I remember saying like that, like the dude had more stats than him.

The 2023 season, the stats wasn't crazy. Off the stats, it's not crazy. So you said 2023, right? Yeah, and 2019. And 2019. Yeah, 2019, he had 36 touchdowns.

That was number one in the league. It was time for number one because I think Dak had 36 too. Okay, well I'm tired. Hold on one second, let me see. But he also had like 1,200 yards. Andrews had 1,400 yards.

I'm not sure. He was spreading it around that year, bro. Everybody was eating that year. Mark Ingram had a good year. Mark Ingram, he was going to relate. Hollywood was getting off.

You said he won in 2023? In 19? So Andrews had 1,361 yards in 2021. That was kind of like a down year for us. Because we didn't have no receivers at all. So we had to force feed Andrews.

Coming off that COVID year, I feel like everybody got hurt. Except for Mark Andrews and Lamar. Yeah. It had to have been Dak Prescott. I mean, it's my opinion that the year that Josh won, I thought Barkley should have got it. I thought so.

You thought who? Oh, you thought Saquon should have done. I thought about Saquon should have done. I mean, a lot of people did. Yeah yeah I mean I think there an urge and it fair to just you know want to even stuff out so when you have a running back or a wide receiver that having a tremendous year on a winning team and they t A quarterback always won't get that joint. Yeah, like even if it's a down year, they're going to default and give it to a quarterback.

I mean, if I can recall, Saquon didn't play well in the playoffs in the Super Bowl, and they still won a Super Bowl. But a quarterback can't do that in the playoffs. Well, I guess you can. You can. Yeah, you can. Some guys get all the luck.

Some guys get all the luck. Okay, so I'll put it like this. The MVP of the league typically got to play well in the playoffs. No. Do they? I thought that's a season award.

No, it is a season award, but I'm just trying to make the point. They typically end up doing that, yeah. All right, so wait, wait, wait. Lamar won it in 2023, right? Yeah. Yeah.

All right, this is what I was talking about. So Lamar won it. Lamar had 3,600 yards passing, 24 touchdowns. And seven interceptions. Now he accompanied that with 800 rushing yards. Prescott had 4,500 yards passing, 36 touchdowns, and nine interceptions.

And of course he's not a rushing quarterback, so we're Right. So if you remember that year, Lamar Jackson did more with less. I mean, he didn't really have anybody. No. Yes. But he didn't have too much help.

But Joe, you're looking at the stats and it's taking away the context. The reason why Dak Prescott didn't receive very many, I don't even know if he was second place that year in the votes because of I don't care if you throw 5,000 yards. I don't care if you throw 50 touchdowns. You're not going to be the MVP because every single time a good guy plays against you, they beat you. So, MVP is based on what? Three things then, right?

You got to have team success, right? Yeah. You got to have individual stats. Correct. And lastly, they look at what help is around you, right? So if you look at that year that Josh won, Josh didn't have too much help.

I mean, the best offensive line and a top five running back was no help. See, the narratives, the stories that people peddle. James Cook in that offensive line was intact. I didn't say no help at all. I said not much help. Lamar had...

Zero protection. Zay Flowers. A young Zay. A rookie Zay. He had one of the top tight ends that year. Cool.

And who was the running back? It wasn't always Barry Henry. It became Barry Henr No, no, no. And when he didn't win, not in 23. No, 23 was Justice Hill. Yeah.

No, no, it wasn't Justice Hill. It was the other dude. They let go. Yeah, a couple of them got injured. He went to Denver. Dobbin.

Dobbin. Dobbin. J.K. Dobbin. Yeah. Justice Hill won starting because that was the year they played the 49ers and Brock Purdy was up for MVP too.

Oh, we had Gus Edwards. Gus Edwards. Gus. Gus the boss. Was it Gus? Gus Edwards, yeah, because I remember because he ended up going to the Chargers.

Yeah, but Gus got hurt too. It was Dobbins. Gus got hurt. No, it couldn't have been. I don't know who it was. I'm telling you it was Gus Edwards.

When he won MVP, it was Gus Edwards. And then the next And Lamar was accompanied by a top tier defense as well. But he had a crazy year, bro. I'm just saying. It doesn't matter. All the other stuff that happens.

And the Bills beat them when they played in the regular season. The Bills beat the Ravens? Mm-hmm. Yeah. But all those things become a factor. You know what I mean?

Sure. I don't see it. It's just interesting. I've never seen all these factors. It's just like you never see a top MVP quarterback have a historic season. And it gets snubbed.

Not on the AP All Pro list or not in any PFF or any other quarterback poll or ranking. But in the writers, in some writers, in just enough writers' eyes, we just feel like this is Hey, so let's talk about something while you're here, Joe. What you think about the 49ers so far, right? Y'all undefeated, right? Yeah, yeah. Here's the thing about the 49ers.

I think the 49ers are well coached right now. We got the fewest penalties. And we have all the makeup of a team that could go far. Alright, here's what I like. We got the fewest penalties. We are number one in third down conversions.

We are number one in his own. And we have a quarterback playing like he's playing the best out of So we're playing discipline, we're executing. Those are the things that I like to see. So we just gotta stay the course. It's a long season and we just gotta stay the course. The Ravens just signed a tight end.

Oh, they just signed a tight end? From the... You on Facebook or... T-Dogs? Where you getting that from? Yeah.

I'm gonna send it to you. 11 year vet. Ravens are quiet too tight. I see the center. I don't see that vet yet. Yeah, we got the center. Man, you know what I was saying, how I feel about the Ravens, bro.

To be 3-1 and not feel like nothing has really clicked, like we've seen flashes of it clicking. And maybe the best version of it so far was week one against the Colts. But as far as consistency, we haven't seen it. It's still looking like a little trepidation defensively. I'm not seeing the trus Sacks are being missed. Guys are touching quarterbacks and not sacking them.

So I just feel like that stuff can get cleaned up. And if we clean it up, I've seen us catch fire and start smoking people We got the offensive line now. I think we could do something that I feel confident. The Juergens pickup was nice. Yeah, but Joe, you mentioned a couple good things, man. Y'all well coached, the penalties.

You got everything that you need to be a winning team. And watching our games, that's things that we need to work on. I think we got the most penalties, actually. So, Ravens penalties. I think they got 39 accepted penalties on the year. Yeah. 13 in the Titans game.

So, let me ask you guys a question. Talk about the Ravens. What do you guys see different from this year to last year? With the Ravens. Only talking Ravens. The play, the offense is quicker.

It doesn't let last year our offense required a lot of time. We just played in shotgun. It was a little more basically Lamar on superhero ball the last couple of years. Right now it's Zay beat your ma Um it a lot smoother We don need the best offensive line to uh to complete those plays as we did before And that cost us especially against the Chiefs in that offense Um but yeah so I would say that u No, I mean, that's basically what I would say as well. The offense is schemed up much better than it's been in the past. Schemed up in a sense of like, it's like a plug and play situation.

It's very m You're going to have an opportunity. You're going to have options here. And Lamar seems to have picked it up very nicely. The running game still hasn't got going yet, but I ain't worried about Derrick Defensively, like you said, like I was saying before, guys ain't trusting their eyes. They're not trusting the scheme. They still kind of like second guessing what they need to do, where they need to I mean, at the end of the day, bro, at the end of the day, I need more.

I need Matt Abike, Roquan, Marlon Humphrey. The spotlight's on these motherfuckers. They get paid a wholeβ€”I see Kyle Hamilton al These other dudes, I need to see some energy. We pay them mad dough. We pay them mad dough, bro. We pay them like $150,000, $200 million between them three.

They need to be making plays. You know what Like, bro, it's like you get paid, you know what I'm saying? When you're paying somebody, a lion's share of our money is going toward these dudes. And we're paying Matt Abike 90 mil. It's like, bro, c What do you think, Joe? What do I think is new with the Ravens?

If I'm being honest, man, I'm not seeing much that's new with the Ravens. I know that's the unpopular answer, but I'm looking at cleaning up things from last year. Ravens always had, whether it was slow or whatever you want to call it, it was always a high-powered offense. It's still the second most explosive. Because of the players you got. What I'm not seeing is I'm not seeing discipline.

I'm seeing too many penalties. At key times, that's keeping teams like Tennessee buzzing around. Or the Saints buzzing around. Yeah, but if you watch the games, it's kind of like, what can you do? It's like the referee can choose to throw a flag in that moment. It's not like, oh, that was undisciplined.

It's very much like that was the play to make. They're just deciding if it's, was it legal t No, I'm looking at all the penalties, right? So I'm looking at the false starts, the illegal shifts, things like that. No, no, no. That stuff don't be stopping the drives, though. That don't be stopping the drives.

It'd be on defense. It'd be the Holdings. So, I mean, you can't say that because it was the Saints game. It was like the Ravens got the ball at the 50, and then they got in field goal range, and then it was, I think, a holding or a false star Or it was the one with Derrick Henry. They ran Derrick Henry, but it was a false start. First and 15.

Now the Ravens throw the ball on first, second, and third down, and they punt. Right? So it's like Yeah. You can't like his thing, you're talking about Super Bowl, right? Yeah. Or you have Super Bowl aspirations, right?

And I'm looking at the discipline because when you talk discipline, I'm looking It was week three against the Cowboys. It was a big deal for Tyler Luke. It was a big deal for him. And the team was supporting Tyler Luke, I feel like. If I'm not mistaken, we all played Little Leagu Alright, so you know if you blow a team out before that game over your coach saying one thing. Let's walk off this field like this was supposed to happen and we're going to get back on the bus and cel Are they supposed to be quiet?

No, I don't know. The thing about the playoff game with the Chiefs. The Chiefs came on the field knowing the Ravens were more talented. Right? And the only way we can win is to get them out of their – to get them in their head. Bro, they got outcoached.

They got outcoached, man. But they got outcoached. It was very simple. They bullied them. They bullied them before the game started. But that's coaching.

That is coaching. That's player mentality. But that's coaching. If I come out there and I'm pushing your guys around, I'm kicking your helmets around in your stadium. This is coaching. The Chiefs don't even do that.

That's not even their style of play. That's what I'm saying. They decided to do that. That's coaching. That's mentality because they know we can get them out of their game early. And I know you might say, Joe, you reach, but that is...

You are. I know. It's the mentality of players. This is just speculation. I mean, for my Ravens fan, I see what you're saying. But Lamar is kind of like that 99% of the time.

Like, hey, even says, hey, I'm foc He talks about that all the time. But in that moment, Job was on the line his whole career. I feel you. If he would have missed that, he would have been kicked off the team. Career running over. You know, I think it was just like, and it seems like he's a good dude.

Murray, kids. So the people in the organization want him to succeed and do well. But yeah, I see your point of view. I see both sides. This is the mentality that it could be a little more mature. Because Lamar is used to winning games where it's a walk-off kick.

You've done it a bunch of times with, what was the other guy's name? Justin Tucker. Doesn't he hold the record like a 66 yarder in Detroit? It was like 64, 65, 68. He holds the record, bro. We've won like this before.

But never in Brazil. You're right. Never in Brazil. It may not never happen again in Brazil. Right, right, right. It may n Kobe Bryant, right?

Third week of the season and he beats somebody on a jump shot. Is he going to go off pace like that? No, he's going to pump his fist and set it on to the next. I think if a certain teammate who had been in a slump made the winning shot, I think he would celebrate it. Fair enough. Fair enough.

I see what you're saying. In every Ray Lewis days. They'd be stoked, bro. It's a team game. Everybody wins. It's a team game.

They win together. And I'm not saying, don't celebrate. You would have thought they won a Super Bowl the way they were celebrating. Yo, remember, free. Yeah, let's move on to the next topics too because I know we all got stuff to do. What else?

There's a lot to talk about. Bro, Browns. Like, we got to talk about the Browns. We got to talk about the Browns. Because dude is coaching down there. He is.

Dude is coaching down there. Munkin. Yeah, Tio Munkin's a good coach. To start how they started the season with Shador, everybody wanting Shador to start. The fans not wanting what his name again What the guy name Deshaun Deshaun Watson Didn even step on the field And then again blown out week one Right. And then to come back and win three straight.

And I know everybody expects the Browns to be the Browns. Like, I still do too. But I do think Malkin is down there coaching, putting a lot of questions to rest, Tsh, such as the quarterback controversy, getting the crowd to bob back into Deshaun Watson, which ain't easy to do. Yeah, so I think the Browns, man, they may not make the playoffs. They may end up doing what the Browns do. But starting out so far, I think the Browns are a legit 3-1 team.

Yeah, yeah, Watson is getting back to itself. As I've seen in the previous podcast, To me, it seemed like the game was just, he didn't catch on to the speed of the game type thing. Yeah, but man, yeah, he's, I mean, if I'm Shador, I'm like, do I request a trade at this point? You know? Danny? Like, I mean, he doesn't even got the prodigal to do so.

I mean, yeah, no, he doesn't. But it's kind of obvious that that he deserves a shot. So we'll see. It may be some injuries down the line. Team trade, second round pick or something. If I'm sure if I'm sure, I'm chilling.

Yeah, I'm chilling. I'm chilling. This is this is perfect. It is perfect. This is a perfect scenario for me now, because now instead of instead of them getting thirsty and us being being bad, And then they be trying to get a quarterback in the first round. Now they're going to think they got a guy.

Right. I mean, let's be honest. They're not going to draft a first round pick and so they're just going to develop me. DeSean going to get hurt? It's only a matter of time. She's going to see the field.

The real reason why Watson is starting is because of that contract. Right. So once that contract is done, which I think is the last year of it. They might resign them though. They might resign them, but then it's a different conversation. You're not giving them guaranteed mo Well, he got like a 160 mil guarantee if they don't.

He still got mad money coming. By March. So they're going to have to cut him and then re-sign him. But let's be honest. Chador isn't ready. From wh He deserves a shot.

If Cam Ward can get a shot, he can get a shot. Because Cam Ward ain't showing me nothing. Yeah, like whatever you see Bryce Young doing, I think Shador could get to be like that. I think Shador could execute to that day. to that degree. Bryce Young is playing. Bryce Young is playing.

He's playing. He's playing. Ever since he got benched, he came out. He came out. He came out. I feel like I'm on wax saying watch out fo Ravens and Panthers?

At Charlotte. It's around Thanksgiving. The Ravens playing Charlotte? Yeah. I wanted to save this topic, but since you brought up that Ravens game. I might catch the train down there.

More importantly than I don't know right now, what do you guys think about this injury and Lamar Jackson's contract is the biggest topic? What you mean? I feel like Lamar is going to play. You think he's going to play Sunday? Yeah. What do you mean?

Lamar's contract? What about his contract? So, Lamar is due $80 million next year. Lamar has a no trade, no franchise. Yeah, you got to pay The Ravens can't pay him $80 million in one year. They could.

And expect to have a team. I mean, yes. So it's either you got to extend him or trade him. No. Listen, Joe, stop. Relax.

I feel like even They're going to get an extension and they're going to be paying somebody $65, $68, $70 million. So like the numbers are already going to be- A year? A year? Yes. The highest right now is $60. Caleb about to get $65.

That's not $80 though, bro. That's not $80. But what I'm saying is it's only $15 off from that. It's like only- We're only $15 million off now. Right there. You're taxed for just not challenging for longer.

In a contract year. Y'all remember last time Lamar was in a contract year, right? I believe when he got hurt, he sat out the rest of the year. Then th What? No, Joe. I don't remember this.

This doesn't even sound like... You don't remember that year he got hit in the back of Lamar? Lamar only plays hard. I've never seen him play ginger. I've never s He can't run. He can't run.

He can't run. I feel you. He's just playing from the pocket. He's just playing from the pocket. That's not gingerly. That's playing from the pocket.

If another quarterback So Lamar is known for mixing up the running pass, right? He can play from the pocket. Oh, he can. There's no question he can. His passing game is not in question. Lamar is known for passing and running, right?

Sure. And Lamar did say, I did not run because I was hurt. Right. He took a weapon away. But he had to. But he had more weapons than everybody.

Now he's just normal. He just decided to play normal. I mean, Lamar was not in his MVP form. No. But the numbers bear out that he was above average. Yeah, he wasn't in his MVP form.

What I'm saying is this. That year that It was the year after that as well when they franchised him. Lamar again got hurt and missed a couple of games. Yeah, he got knee in the back or something. I think it was Demi game. He got knee in the back, right?

Yeah, knee in the back real bad. Yeah, but that was also contract year. Now, outside of contract years, Lamar has just played through injuries, through it all. Whether he was hurt or not, Lamar's like, I'm playing. I'm just saying, are you guys at all looking at that contract? I'm being honest with you.

It's a very basketball-like contract. Because given the fact that Lamar was in that situation waiting. So look at the contract he was in before when they didn't want to pay him and they waited and they franchised him. And Lamar was holding up signs. Pay me. Right?

Of course he didn't make the sign. But The's not a contract. Why are you so tied up with the no trades, no franchise? He going to re-sign a contract. They're going to negotiate a contract, Joe. What are you trying to say, Joe?

You trying to say that trade it to somebody? That's not what I'm saying. What I'm saying is he's put himself in a position that he holds all the cards. So the Ravens have three choices. We either pay him what he wants. Remember, he tried to get guarantee money before and didn't get it.

We either pay him what he wants or we got to trade him. They got They're gonna figure it out. They're gonna figure it out, bro. I'm just asking is it is that something that you guys as fans are looking at like I don't it's I don't see it as a thing because so look if you thought it was a thing before he already showed you that So they're going to figure out the other stuff. That's all for you. It would only be, Joe, if Lamar wants to leave.

Right. It's not about him leaving. There's a chance that Lamar might want to leave. I don't think so. You said trade him, and that's not an option, remember? Well, if it's not trade him, then you're going to pay him.

Pay him what he wants. Or pay him 80 million next year or pay him what he wants. These are the options. They don't like this. Nobody likes when the rabbit has the gun and they're just taking as long as they possibly can. But after the season concludes and whatever transpires, Lamarca trip and tears ACL tomorrow, the price will still be the price.

Just like when Dak Prescott broke his leg in week four before he negotia That's another thing we got to talk about. The injuries this year. Oh, they're horrendous. Yeah, we got to talk about that, bro. Too many of them. They're trying to extend the season even longer.

I didn't hear about that. Yeah. Honestly, the bulk of the entries have been ACLs, calves, knees, right? Yeah, Achilles. Ancles. Broke Honestly, I think that AstroTurf man needs to go.

We need to go back to grass. If you think about it, back in the 90s, bro, if a dude had an Achilles, I mean, what is it, ACL, ACL, PCL, MCL, his caree Yeah. And don't get it twisted. If any one of us tear our ACL, we never going to be cutting no more. Like, you're not making no sharp cuts. You're always going to have a left.

Because we're not going to do the rehab properly. We ain't got that round of clock hair. Yeah, man. Same with the Tyreek Hill. Nasty stuff, man. His injury was different.

It was worse. What if he signed with the Chiefs? Oh, God. If he signed with the Chiefs, I'm scared. I'd be so mad. I'm already going to the Bills.

Oh, that would be nasty. I know. I just probably wanted to lay that on you. Are you serious? Hey, he said he wanted cold weather. People saying the Bills.

That would be disgusting if he went to the Bills. Oh, that's the dark side. The Chiefs need him though. The chiefs need him. And I think he wants to be back by now. Like, I think he's been, what do you say, humbled.

Yeah. He's been humbled. He's been humbled. I think he's ready to come back. In more ways than one. He's been humbled.

He took a major L when it was divorced. Oh, I heard he was in divorce court yesterday. Am I correct? He lost like half his money. He got mad kids. He got 10 kids, don't he?

He got a stable. Yeah, outside of the murder. She took half his money. I didn't know he lost. He's got to play. He's got to play some sport.

He's got to play Trey, he got to use that cheetah for something. Well, it is what it is. It's the season of attrition, man. It takes skill, luck, and staying healthy to win the Super Bowl. Yeah, man. And it sucks with all these injuries, man, because like everyone's excited.

You know, you got them on fantasy. And then it's just like these freak injuries are just too consistent. People j Remember what I was saying? As we continue progressing and we get into modern medicine and we get into these super athletes, these dudes are moving like freight trains. They're 285 pounds, but they ru And then they try to cut It like yo come on dog Somebody knee just shattered It just like the nature of how big and fast people are now I feel like that just what going to continue It going to happen All right, man. We probably got two more topics in this to make it an hour, which I want to talk about.

Man, we could talk about the legit 4-0 teams. We could talk about the matchups coming up this weekend. Okay. Quick segment. OBJ signed to the Vikings. Did he?

Pratt squad. Oh, Pratt squad. But you know how they do it. They do the Pratt squad, and then they elevate, and then they sign type thing. Yeah, they checking them out, kicking the tires. Who's 4-0?

The Vikings, the 49ers, Chiefs. I thought I'd have to keep it up. They lost to the race games. That's it. Three teams. I think those are all good teams.

So y'all think these are all legit 4-0 teams? Yeah. Who is it again? The Bills lost. So, Vikings 49ers and Chiefs. I think all three of those teams will make it past the wildcard round.

Okay. Yo, this is a tough division, bro. Who, the Bills division? I'm sorry. You see my screen? 49ers, Seahawks, Rams, Cardinals. I see a screen, but it's stuck.

The Cardinals are sneaky. They be losing, but they not a free lunch. They be doing their thing a little bit. So, I think the 49ers and Chiefs are legit. I think the 49ers, of course, I talked about them earlier. The 49ers and Chiefs are legit.

They're just about in football. So, you're not sold on the Vikings. I think the Chiefs are capable of winning in multiple ways. They got a very good running game. They got a defense that can show up any given week. A quarterback that can show up any given week.

And they've won games without the defense. They've won games without the quarterback. Right? As long as that run game stays consistent, I think they're very legit. The Vikings, though, I mean, they got a great defense right now. And I think they – what are they allowing?

Like, how many points a game? 13 points a game? Something low. 13, 12, like that. Yeah. Yeah. Their defense is crazy. And at the same time, their quarterback play is going to be spotty.

Right. So I mean, I mean, look, Kyle Murray is a is a cut above average. He's a slight a slight coach just because of his athleticism. He's an average, average processor, average. All these other attributes, like anticipation to average, but along with above average athleticism, which gets him out of jams and gets you some free yards. But he's miniature, so you just got to deal with that.

I think that the Minnesota Vikings will miss the playoffs. Dang. That defense is not missing the playoffs, bro. I mean, looking at it right now, right? You probably 49 Seahawks, Rams, Panthers, probably Cowboys, Bears. That's six.

Oh, because if you don't win the division, you probably won't make the playoff. Oh, yeah, that's true. The speakers? Philly is going to be somewhere in there and then it's the Falcons that are probably going to be somewhere in there. Don't get it twisted. The Falcons ain't all that good.

No, but they m Not going to be Philly. I say could be. I'm not going to count them out. I'm counting them out. They already counted out. But think about it, right?

Their right tackle retired and they traded their center. They're done. He wasn't at starting center. He was at starting left guard. And he sucked at that. But he was a good center last year.

Oh, yeah. So, I mean, I can just see, like, I mean, like, some teams start hot. But, like I said, their quarterback play. And Saquon Barkley, and Saquon Barkley just pulled a hammy. He did pull a hammy, right? And he a running back, so that's not good for him.

No, he neither. But, you know, I'm looking at the Falcons, like I said, Falcons. And McCall Lemon is a lemon. Falcons, Bears, Packers could turn it around with your boy coming back, right? It's a long season. What the guy coming back He played for Cowboys Michael Parsons He ain playing at the season I mean look to be fair to be fair I only because of institutional like belief realistically because I know w Look, watch this.

Packers are 2-2. Right? Bears are 3-1. Yeah. The Vikings don't got a strong hold over that division. The Vikings do play the Saints next.

They're probably going to win that. But they don't have a strong hold over that division. I know, but the Vikings played the Vikings defense. I saw I saw the way the Vikings defense swallowed up the great the Green Bay Packers. That's that's going to be trouble for them. That's another win They're going to do the same thing.

They're going to rope and dope him, and then they're going to blitz the hell out of Joe in love until he fumbled the ball. I'm looking at the Vikings right there. They're starting to play. Aaron Jones has less than 300 yards and one touchdown. Their quarterback play is what it is. It's not that great.

Like, I'm looking... Like, I don't know, bro. I don't know. But sometimes when all you gotta do when your defense is only giving up 13 points a game, sometimes all you gotta do is get in the end zone a couple times. But look, check this out. A D pass to Justin Jefferson.

Like, you can get one of them a game. You can get a D. Boy, they doing cook on the Vikings, bro. Yeah, you can get one to Jeffers. Hell yeah. He got a lot of competition to cook, though.

I think Jefferson is going to make them young again, bro. Is Jefferson hurt? No. Okay. But, you know, they won Damn, that's a stretch. That's a gauntlet.

That's a little gauntlet. Then they got Detroit, then Washington, and Watchcarm might be back by then. They got the Bears the last game of the season. That m Yeah. That might determine who's going to. Like, we've been watching football long enough to know.

Like, that probably could be for who gets the division and who goes to the playoffs. Right. And who holds the fourth seed. Right? Because that's how these things go, right? Yeah.

But I don't think they're that good. I think they're playing good in September. I think they'll be the Vikings. I really do. I don't have no faith in Colin Meyer. Zero.

None. No, that's fair. I do think that's realistic. Like I said, most teams don't start hot and finish hot. The Chiefs have been one of the few teams that I We'll see how it goes with the teams that are hot right now. When I look around the league, it's interesting.

It's interesting. We see some people bubbling to the top that we're not used to seeing. We see some old stalwarts that aren't where we're thinking they were going to be. Some people are right where we're thinking they were. We'll see how it It's the South and the South and the South. That's why it goes, you know what I'm saying?

The Ravens don't really handle divisional play until later in the season anyway ... Oh my goodness, that's gonna be tough. That's when the season gets wild. I ain't really worried about the Bengals. Because they yet again let me know. They yet again let me know exactly who they are.

They have no intention of running the ball. They're not a real serious franchise in the AFC North. It's cold up here, boy. It get cold in January out here, boy. It get cold out here. You got to run the ball and play defense.

They don't do eithe They just do that for fun. They don't run the ball. Tate Brown had 13 yards last week. They're not serious. They're not a serious franchise. That's how I feel.

I like watching their games. They're really exciting. They're fun. They don't make the play. Other teams score so easily. They do all the technical stuff to score and then the other team just scores too easy.

So it's always like a 36, 29. It's an exciting game to watch for sure. But yeah. Yeah. And Joe Burrow always throw that pick. You throw that pick to end the game.

He's going to throw that pick to lose I like watching it. I feel like in that division I don know which team it is but one of those teams will be playing the Ravens for that division I don think it going to be the Steelers I wouldn be surprised if it the Bro So those two teams, I don't know. We don't really know what they are. Michael Penix is still kind of like a... This is like his rookie year, for real. He's running for $145 a game.

Yeah. He like the new AP. Yo, he nice, yo. Complete. He can cut. He's a complete, yeah.

He's a dog. We're going to find out on Sunday night, for sure. Hey man, what's your thing about the matchups, man? This Sunday? We need Lamar. If we don't have Lamar, we're going to lose.

That hurt Brian. That hurt Brian. He yawning. Our defense better not mess around. He can score. I think it's going to be a high-scoring game.

Okay. Yeah. Y'all want to go through each matchup? I think this is the game the defense shows up. I think this is the game the Baltimore Ravens defense puts as a flash. You're like, oh, is this what they could be?

Is this what they could be? They'll be flying around on that hot ladder. Here's what I would like to see from the Ravens. I would like to see coaching play a major factor in their win. Not the defense, not the offense. I want to see coaching play a major factor in that win.

Okay. So limit the penalties. You talking about head coaching or the coach is like coordinator? Coaching staff. Coaching staff. I think this is a game where you can really make your mark, especially if Lamar doesn't play.

Because now we're coaching from, well, we don't have the talent aspect of quarterback right now. Right. So now coaching has to step in and you got to put your players in the best position to win. Right. Like, you know, you can't you can't have Tyler Huntley being in, you know, second and third an You gotta take the points. I just want to see some good coaching, which me personally, I don't feel like enough is put on a coach.

All of us put on a quarterback. Because I'm looking at the Titans gam They passed him the first down. The running game was not working. The running game was not working. They stopped running. Well, no, what I'm saying is the running game, we had some issues up front.

Vega at center. We got Rosen guard. Simpson wasn't touching nobody. They were trying to guard Simpson. We wasn't able to wash him down. The offensive line was not able to block for Derrick Henry.

Oh, no, no, no. I'm not talking about coaching on the Ravens side, right? I'm talking about coaching on the C side. Like, they just put Ward in positions he shouldn't have been in, right? And that's w But you can't do that with Tyler Huntley. We can't go three and out for our defense.

I'm hoping they put Fagnano in, honestly. Who is that? That's how Thurz – Who is that? You got to be a Ravens fan and know about him, bro. Oh, okay. Who is that?

That's how Thurz came quarterback. He was killing the preseason. He run the offense. He makes quick decisions. His timing's down. He's nice.

I think he has a better grip. Now, I haven't seen Snoop in a minute. That was preseason. Snoop might have picked it up by now. But last time I saw Snoop, Fagnano had a better grasp of the playbook or Okay. Yeah, I just want to see good coaching, man.

It's good coaching. Yep. All right, man. Shoot. We're running up on an hour. We was trying to keep these things short.

It's one of our goals. I think this is a successful show. We put a lot more topics in. We put in like Yeah, we did it. Yes, sir. All right.

Well, I'll catch y'all next week. All right. Later.
