Nah, I ain't make that yet. Alright, we're back. We got some... Got some things to talk about. NFL is... I mean, shoot, it was a game today.
So... Yeah, it's popping now. We made it through the drought. Shout out to basketball. Made it through the drought. We're back.
NFL is back. Yeah. I'm happy to be here, man. Happy to be here. Ready for this Raven season. I think we got a lot of get back.
You know what I'm saying? It's a lot of people been talking. They cannot. It's good for business to talk about the Ravens for some reason in the offseason. I know. I know.
You know what I'm saying? They've been intentionally disrespectful. They've been rage baiting us. But this is a celebratory event today. because we are celebrating Zay Flowers homegrown talent got paid. How are we feeling about that? Is this exciting?
I'm excited for Zay. Let me read the particulars real quick and then we can get into it. Okay. So, Baltimore's two-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Zay Flowers has reached an agreement today with the Ravens on a four-year, $140 million extension that includes $108 million guaranteed. That's about money. Looking at $35 million a year, he's matching.
The big conversation online is that he's matching Justin Jefferson. That's the conversation. That's the conversation. Is it worth that contract? you know is it worth it for him to be you know getting paid the same amount as Justin Jefferson sure I'm gonna go last y'all go first how you feel how you feel Charles how you feel about it Justin Jefferson level no but sometimes you luck up you know he has the rules of going to the Pro Bowl. He has that he's not replaceable. He has that another team is going to pay him.
He has that in the Ravens offense, it's a run team. So he even has that argument. Well, when his number is called, he answers. He's unguardable, which is a cheat code in any offense you can't guard him um he's a complete wide receiver in my opinion i mean i mean lamar just said this dude wakes up four or five in the morning and just works out every single morning so said he's a he's one of those guys that stay in the gym always looking to improve so and if that's your quarterback you gotta pay him lamar saying stuff like that so yeah yeah i agree that makes that makes all the sense in the world um it makes all the sense in the world to keep zay flowers on board the price is the price like you said the timing comes around and this is how much a top flight wide receiver costs zay flowers is the number one and we can we can do the justin jefferson comparison and say oh he's not as good just jefferson they get paid that drake london makes 35.4 so is that is they flowers as good as jake london uh chris olave makes 30 makes 32.4 or 30 33 is he is he's better than chris olave i think so it's like justin jefferson got paid like two off seasons ago like this is like it's just like an old contract so like he was at the top of the market now it's slipping down just like any other thing i don't I don't like to compare Jay Flowers to Justin Jefferson. We know he's not. And we know when Justin Jefferson goes back to crack Minnesota for extension, it's going to be for $45 million.
It's going to be for the top of the market. $50 million. Yeah, he's going to reset the market. They didn't reset the market. So it was a good, reasonable price for a more than deserving, hardworking wide receiver who our quarterback loves. Our quarterback who we're about to re-sign. So it's a no-brainer in my opinion. just like in two years and to boot i want to add he's still on his rookie contract so we're not paying him yet we're not we picked up his fifth year so we're gonna pay him 18 mil next year too so we're not even going to get in and start paying 35 until about 2028 so like let's just like get out of people let's stop counting billion dollar franchises pockets they figure it out like the price is the price we'll be done with it so yeah that's a good that's a good point man um but he did set the market a little bit on guaranteed money i'm guaranteed you got 108 yeah that was the data that's the most probably the most guaranteed money ever i mean i i kind of agree with both of y'all um i think this is a great deal by the ravens finally they get out ahead of it they don't wait to the last second and then get burnt because i was starting to get afraid of the year that zay is about to have you know what i mean you got to think about if zay goes out there this year and he catches you know let's say he gets 1300 yards and eight or nine maybe 10 touchdowns yeah bro you giving them you giving them almost 50 million next year got to if if he does that because another receiver is going to get paid and then if zay has a year like that then he has to make more than who you know what i mean like if their stats are comparable you're going to end up giving them way more right so get out ahead of it now pay him now you know 35 million is you know that's what guys are getting and like and like i said if you if you average it out over the course of now we got him for four years plus the two plus the two we basically we got his whole prime yeah we got six years a hundred and something million dollars really like 28 mil right for a top flight wide receiver we'll take that i'll take it you're right because here's the thing that's reasonable here's the thing in a in a in two years when the cap goes up we'll be able to get another top flight robert siva because you know what i mean zay's contract will be nothing it'll be pennies in two years yeah well i mean i mean i mean you'd have to expect the market to bubble and he'll probably want an extension i mean he'll want to redo his bill it'll probably burst you know at this like this 50 marker i would probably i mean at the 50 marker i would probably say 50 mill a year for a wide receiver sounds crazy yo i just realized something else though i already have 45. we got such a good deal on bateman a lot of these teams pay by paying two our receivers that money yeah the cowboys the cowboys are in hell yeah trying to have cd and they just keep having that because because bro i'm sorry pickings is better oh my god i would i would rather have pickings i think is so much more athletic honestly awesome awesome chill i might i might pick pickings like don't say it bro second uh i think that's nice he's really good go look at his highlights from last year yo it's the the skill set is freaky he can do everything he got the speed to outrun people he can get the jump balls he can catch the he can catch he can do screens he does everything he'll break he'll break you down over field you can he can catch over the middle and he'll block if he wants to that's that's kind of the issue with Zay is because Zay's 5'9", you know, the deep throws are kind of tough.
I don't have him, too. I mean, I got Puka, Jamar Chase. I don't think he's better than Chase. Jamar Chase is one to me. Jamar Chase is one to me. Yeah, Chase is one.
I'm going with that, too. Chase is one, and I'd probably have Jefferson, too. and then Pickens maybe like third or fourth. Just off of watching the film and looking at how he moved and how he moved around other freakish athletes, Pickens looks really, really crazy. I cannot believe they didn't draft him. I cannot believe that they looked at him and was like, ah, character issues. He would have been perfect in Baltimore.
Perfect. Yeah. Oh, my God. We would have just drafted him. We just would have accepted him. We just would have let him do it.
We drafted Ojabo. Ojabo. He's like, yo, off the torn ACL. He was like, we're going to pocket this. This is a steal. Yo, I'm trying to tell you.
I'm trying to tell you, bro. I see. I was looking through rose-colored glasses. This nigga, John Harbaugh. Really? When we drafted Ojabo, was Jim at Michigan at the time?
Yes. Yes. That's a Harbaugh move. The connection is so clear and evident It so absurd The fact that Fahalele and his little brother was down in fucking New Zealand with John Harbaugh and his brother for Football Across America campaign. Bro, Football Across the Globe. Bro, this whole thing is ridiculous.
John Harbaugh made one good decision. He decided to take a Heisman Trophy winner and put him in the game. That's all he did. That's all he did. And Lamar Jackson's been cooking ever since. You think John Holborn did that?
He's a special teams coach. He had nothing to do with it. Greg Roman only has a job because he has friends, not because he's a good coach. Yo, remember when... Put a Heisman Trophy winner in. He just put him in the game.
The youngest Heisman Trophy winner of all time, he just put him in the game. Remember when they had Lamar in these passages, right? Forget it. What? And then they had Lamar playing wide receiver and he got open. But Franco didn't throw him the ball.
He was wide. They ain't had no faith in my boy, bro. They got lucky, bro. We got lucky. And then they got him and then they got lucky. He got in the game.
He started cooking. They watched him throw all them touchdowns. He led the league in touchdowns. One MVP unanimously. Yeah, and they still wouldn't pay them. They still wouldn't get a wide receiver.
They still wouldn't They just didn't believe it. Let's just run them. Let's just run. It's COVID. Let's just run. Bro, disgusting.
Malpractice. And we watched it and we just kept being like, John Harbaugh is a good coach. Now John Harbaugh ain't on no top 10 list. He ain't, John Harbaugh left Baltimore, he's on no one's top 10 list as a coach. So where was that when he was in Baltimore? They kept saying he was so good.
He's not good. He's not a good coach, bro. A good coach, bro. He just I watched him. I watched him just squander. Good enough.
He's good enough for the Giants. I watched him squander. He's not disagreeing with that. Sure. Yeah, sure. The Giants are as bad as they've been in a higher distance.
That's what I'm saying. It's not like he's going to make it. The Giants used to get a Super Bowl every decade. They haven't got one in a while. Yes, but he's not going to make the Giants worse. You know what I mean?
They're going to be slightly better. But no, his arrogance at this point, his old self still trying to play old football and talk old ways with these new niggas. He's about to be in for a rude awakening. They're about to stop listening to him so quick. Half of them have CP already. He don't know what he's dealing with, I don't think.
Watch. He's going to try to run Jackson Dart. He's going to try to run Jackson Dart into a hole. Because he's just like, yo, I'm done with him. Yo, I think they're going to do the same thing. I think they're going to try to.
Patrick Ricard going to do damage. Yeah, until we realize that little thing that Lamar does when he gets down and no one hits him, or that little thing when he trots out of bounds and he's way faster than people, that part matters when you want to run. And the fact that everybody can't do that, that's why J. Daniels got racked up last year. That's why every single scrambling quarterback other than Lamar will take a lot of unnecessary damage because they're not much faster than nobody they they margis hurt standing in the pocket getting sacked and it'd be fluky stuff too like very weird type but he's he's mostly sturdy that's and that's what's so weird like nobody even acknowledges they just be like yo he'd be missing games it's like oh there'd be kind of some weird injuries that'd be happening to his lower extremity blues and then for the offensive line to be just as nasty as it was last year with no once again once again John Harbaugh makes no adjustment he just watched it happen like a car crash he just could not hear you know 50 million dollar quarterback a year and he never rotated him out bro they could can we get it can we get another look can we get can we get Benson a can we can we can we get what can we get a big Cleveland sighting before Ben Cleveland got caught with the peds but still bro i just feel like i just feel like that was malpractice and i'm happy i mean i i agree with you i agree with you i mean you know we we've gone over this at you know and i'm i'm just happy he's gone bro and he can just go and we can go watch the car crash somewhere else and it's not us anymore and you know what i mean i'm excited to watch the giants this year i I really am. I'm going to be glued.
The hate watching is going crazy. I'm going to be watching the Ravens postgame shit and then going straight to the Giants, bro, just to see what's going on over there. It was cracking over there. Yo. And New Metal, in the middle of that. How they feeling?
How y'all feeling up there? Week four. G-Men. You're G-Men. Yo. New York Giants.
You guys are New York Giants. Yeah, funny, man. Yeah, bro. So, yeah. Off the tangent, back to Zay. Yeah, Zay, Zay, I paid.
Yeah, right. Yeah, man. Yeah, man. I think it was a good deal. You know, like Brian said, like, the next time Justin Jefferson gets up, he's going to reset the market. So...
Well, contingent on this year. He hasn't had a quarterback, but, yeah. Yeah, numbers are numbers. Right. I mean, do you think Kyler is better than Sam Donald? Yeah.
Yeah. I mean, he did pretty well with Sam Donald. Only thing about Kyler is last and all season. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Last and all season. That's the issue with Kyler.
He come out hot and then he get hurt. yeah the thing the thing about it is i also believe that calamari hasn't been uh well he when he when he was pretty good he had cliff kingsbury but he hasn't had too much like it was that was the only like really good offensive coordinator he had and they were good during that time calamari calamari just is the type of quarterback that he needs structure. He needs structure. He needs structure. He needs something that's like that works with him. I think he's got that. Yeah, now.
I expect Kyle Amari to look like a top 12 quarterback until the playoffs, and then people get figured out by then. That's pretty high praise. Top 12. I think when Kyle Amari's clicking, I think he could be uh like just like just below just below like that brock curdie range the crazy thing is he's he's super accurate yeah he can throw he's a thrower he can throw well and he runs well i just don't think that he watches enough film and he just doesn't and he won't be knowing what to do enough but if he gets a good head coach that can kind of like make it a little easier for him i think you can just see his athleticism shine through and and maybe they can keep him healthy because he... Arizona is a bad representation, bro. I think Minnesota's got a better offensive line.
We'll see. Yeah, it's bad football. Bad football in Arizona. I think Purdy said for a shorter quarterback, you are literally playing blind. You've thrown it to where the receivers have to be at a certain time. I'm like, man, that's got to be so freaking difficult.
You know saying that it's really timing and looking at the defense and anticipating what's going to be open at that second Knowing your mom's on the gaps. You know how hard that is? Yeah, because you gotta you gotta you gotta throw the ball over the linebackers But under the safeties Larry Yeah, I didn't know that quarterback something this quarterbacks. They pretty much play without seeing That's I mean offensive line. Yeah. That's crazy.
Yeah. I mean, if you play big league college, you know what I'm saying? They 6'5", 6'6". That's what I'm saying. College should be used to that. He played at Oklahoma.
Right. He should be used to... He's been 5'9". Right. That 5'9", maybe he's 5'11". I don't know.
They say 5'11". He's little, though. He looks super little. Yeah. He might be 5'8". You see how I mean?
I mean, I think Kyla is like the best player in like Texas football history, high school football history. Hands down. Never lost a game, right? It's not even really up for debate. Texas don't even debate it. He's the best athlete, not even football.
He considered he's considered the best athlete out of Texas high school athlete. Yeah And the talents there it's just you know That's that's why the NFL so hard It feels so difficult like it just it just challenges niggas Differently and like you don't say like to be a quarterback. You gotta lead men So Kyle O is a great athlete but can he motivate other guys to follow him into the fire and keep doing it and running through a wall And the answer has been not really No not really Yeah, I mean, he's a, he's McCurri. Up till now. He's McCurri. He's like, you know, he's a baseball player for real.
He used to just being in the outfield by himself, you know what I'm saying? He just, it's about you. As a quarterback, it's about the team, football about the team. And he's kind of like a solo guy. It's interesting. Alright, so Tyler Luke We seen him a couple days ago Missing some short ones Right, but today he went 7 for 7, I think he hit a 6 yarder, 58 yarder Saw that So, what y'all think?
He better do something Yeah, I mean He better pick it up But we call Justin Tuck Pick it up, we call Tuck We'll see how the First preseason game go, bro Right He better He better We're kicking straight 50s We said Kick straight 50s In preseason I want to see Let's do the Let's do the first Preseason game And then You know We'll talk again after that When is the first Preseason game A couple weeks Might be Sunday Might be this Coming up Might be Yeah They'll play Philly In a couple days August 15 Next Saturday Next Saturday Next Saturday Next the Eagles Yep So who's that That's going to be Snoop versus who's the Eagles backup? No, I don't even know if Snoop will play. Maybe Mitchell Trubisky. I don't know. No, Kenny Pickett. No, Kenny Pickett's in Carolina.
He played tonight. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't know. I wonder. You don't think Snoop going to play? Snoop going to play.
It's the first preseason and only give it to the third stream, right? No, never. You think Menta's going to play Lamar? Lamar will probably play. Nah. It's only three preseason games.
I bet you Lamar's out there for a drive. Lamar hasn't played a preseason game in like three years. He hasn't played a preseason game since 2018? That's true. I mean, come on, man. He hasn't played one since his rookie year.
I'm going to start off preseason. I'm going to see, bro. I'm going to see. I'm going to see. I'm going to see. Because I'm telling you, this is a weird situation.
Coming off of a down year, it would be a statement. It would be a statement for him to play a preseason game. I think that would be foolish. Sorry about the 17 games, bro. Again, like I said before, let him get out there, sniff some grass. I think that would be foolish.
That would be foolish. That's how you get fired. Let him get out there, sniff some grass. You know what I mean? get in the huddle and you know chop it up and then a quick we out of there didn't we lose jk dobbins in pre-season oh yeah around with the redskins that was that was stupid that was about to be his year yeah now he said he's about to play all 17 out on denver he done yo if he did play lamar lamont got any type of injury yo No, they're not going to play Lamar. We got a podcast. I know Brian ain't going to come.
Because if they play Lamar, you got to play Derrick Henry. They're not going to play Derrick Henry. No, you're right. You're right. That's crazy. You know?
They're playing everybody. Marlon, get out of there. Yeah, they're not playing them old guys, bro. It's a lot of veterans. Calais Campbell. Calais Campbell probably not playing.
He's playing 19 years. yeah because campbell basically didn't have to come to preseason to come to camp for real yeah yeah yeah he came back though he already back he did come back because he's 39 yo he loves you know he's kind of like built for football though yeah it's like lebron yeah he's kind of like like julius pepper like it was just yeah yeah just super big super strong and it had been like that like he just he was like that when he was he was yeah five he was big and strong he's six eight he's a monster and he's a good character guy yeah good glue guy he's gonna make guys better for sure right yeah i'm gonna put him on that d-line with them young boys that's it was a good idea i love it i love you he's here late for real but it's right right on time and he always seemed like he comfortable because you know what i'm saying he's just even killed um he blocks field goals that's how i wouldn't stop like he is man bro he get at least two or three of them a season yeah if he's if he's used properly facts i wonder if he was gonna make the hall of fame first i don't know yeah i don't have a super bowl 19 years no if he went to super bowl with us yeah i mean i maybe maybe but i mean you gotta have a lot of stats he's a walter payton he's a man of the year guy that might help well my so my criteria this ain't i don't know if they if this go off anything but i believe you gotta be you gotta be the best at your position for over five years or be or be or be or be top five like you gotta be top five in your position for five for like five years that would be like somebody that probably could like like patrick willis like he wasn't he ain't played that long but he played but he was the best you gotta have chad johnson in there then um i don't i don't know chad was the best because randy was out there i don't know chad was top five yeah chad was top five for maybe four years i don't know if it was five he got he got jammed up he really yeah he played with a lot he played with like that like that ab shit like chad didn't have a b starts he had a great start antonio brown had like a hall of fame start yeah gotta give it to him even though he flamed out crazy but like but chad had a great start but it wasn't like a hall of fame so he needed to be consistent for like a little bit longer i think i think what i think what helps a b a lot is he was never bad he was always good you know what i mean and with chad you kind of you kind of saw chad fall off at the end yeah like after cincinnati yeah yeah yeah like you could tell like yeah like his football acumen and And like you would tell us like situationally, he was in a good situation in Cincinnati. Once he got somewhere else, they didn't let him do the same stuff. And he wasn't really equipped as far as like being a complete wide receiver in that way. In that offense. In that offense. Yeah.
Yeah. I mean, he went to the Patriots. They, you know. He's cold. Josh McDaniel. I mean, you know, I mean, he had Tom Brady, but.
I mean, Randy Marsh just caught 22 touchdowns. So it's possible. Was that under Josh McDaniel? Yeah. He was the OC? I believe so. 2007.
All right. So we're going to just watch him in the preseason. We'll see. We'll see what happens. Yeah. All right.
What's next topic? I don't know. Pride and tears. Oh, yeah, yeah. lamar lamar oh yeah but i mean i think the biggest story of the summer should have been erin donald but they couldn't get they couldn't keep lebron name off their tongue off their lips on espn but but erin donald is say he coming back and erin donald is at the facility he's practicing and acting like he's coming back and it's basically a done deal and donald coming back that's crazy dog Aaron Donald and miles guard that's insane with that I was supposed to veto this yeah LA trying to buy another Super Bowl bro it's happening why do they sign why do they draft a quarterback in the first round though because they were house money they just like whatever who can match after Matt Matt Stafford's mad old you know like they kind of had to use some capital to try to get a replacement for Matt Stafford. I don't know if that guy's any good. I think if that dude gets in there and he not good within two years, they're going to trade for somebody.
The Rams are not going to sit back and be bad. Nope. No. They'll pay the price. Yeah. So they're doubling down.
They used to have Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey. They're about to have Aaron Donald and Miles Gerd. And they got Trent McDuffie out there. And they got mad people. I know. They just took Trent McDuffie from the Chiefs.
Yeah. Yeah, they're nice. They're super nice. They're going to be favorites. Yeah. Yeah, they are.
But Seattle beat them twice last year when they quit batter. Yeah, but they got Miles. Now they got Aaron. I mean the weakness is if you can get the Stafford you can get him You get him. Yeah, that's true. You're not gonna take no hits.
That's true. I Mean he definitely will take some hits but he just not He will take for sure He will take some hits but he can get out the way Right No yeah definitely not You know? No, he's not moving. That's the thing with him. Right. He's going to be swinging that thing.
And he's not moving. No. He's an old school quarterback. Statue in there. Yep. um what's oh the digs oh yeah what you think about him it was either him or IU yeah it's good that's cool I think it's a good signing for them it makes him a very scary offense didn't he buy a 10 million dollar home in DMV he's from the area no before he got signed oh yeah they said he was buying property oh yeah i used to playing with billionaires he's tripping he think they gave him 100 million dollars and he think that he can play with a franchise worth 10 billion dollars he's tweaked out they got him they got him you think that owner he think that owner care about that 100 million you don't it's fine you did it but you tried but you tried to do it to me so let me let me show you how you really you know what i'm saying like you thought you tried to me but let me show you how you really do it bro they probably he probably called all the other owners and was like y'all better not sign him you y'all you y'all know they blackball people bro that's what they do we've seen them it is it is very it's documented because it is very they got caught yeah lamar just lamar just didn't sue him yeah for the guaranteed contract stuff that was all them they did that the market took them to court yeah he could have yeah they had them looking at other teams but they called all the owners and like you better not yeah because it was like oh we gotta get herbert we gotta make sure that these people do not get this car because they all gonna get guaranteed because we have to shut down there's a string but then once they got once they got once they got russell wilson the fold then they was like perfect then the first that was the first domino his ass he folded he folded and then they what's your door teamed up fifth round yeah he teamed up in fifth round though now he out here they still they still acting like he competing for the job he's cooking he be cooking out there in practice everybody says bro they said watson been terrible yeah they be trying they be trying to jazz it up bro the players be saying it I be seeing the clips yeah should yeah but we'll see I mean the thing about it is you pay somebody 46 million dollars a year it's hard to sit on the bench for that amount of money bro yeah I mean that's why he's getting a shot yeah exactly they're gonna give they're gonna give him all the chances to start and if Shadour is not playing well they're gonna they're gonna put Watson in right so He's a great insurance policy. Let me see the Browns' first four games.
He going to play. I mean, unless your door just takes off. I want to be clear. Whoever gets out there has... No receivers. That bitch got a hemi in it.
That offense got a hemi in it, I swear. I'm trying to tell you. Quince Quince Sean Junkins is nice for real that boy running back is nice for real Harold Fanning the tight end is nice for real They're about to be problematic Denzel Boston out of out of Washington looking like they said he ain't can't looking looking every bit like the best wide receiver out of the draft Is also cooking what about the O-line with that look right? Oh, I solid solid a lot solid not not inside of last year well I think it was a lot more than the offensive line last year yeah yeah I don't I don't think the fancy was really trying to yeah it was trying to tank correct that wasn't like that wasn't like an accurate representation of like a team trying to win like they was really we really got Dylan Gabriel for like three weeks they played in our face so you got the browns or the jacks week one huh i'm gonna do it i'm gonna do that first four games the sean boston jags week one browns jags browns jags week one where's it at in jacksonville yep lois jacks yeah they've been actually i'm taking the jazz but the jags was following The Jags be starting slow, and Trevor Lawrence is small. He is. He's still trash, but they got the team.
Oh, my God. Go ahead. Go ahead and gas up Trevor Lawrence. I'm not gassing, but he's becoming a more mobile quarterback, and he's starting to run top. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. So he's winning games because he just started taking off. All right. So let's go with 10. They can beat the Browns with no miles guard. Number one pick overall.
This is how he talks about him. He's starting to run around a little bit. He had Jamar Chase and Jefferson, bro. He had Jamar Chase and Jefferson in college. No. Lawrence.
No, Joe Burrow. Oh, that was Joe Burrow. Oh, yeah. Lawrence is at Clemson. Joe Burrow really is a wide receiver merchant, and nobody talks about it at all. He's had the best wide receivers in circumstance of any quarterback I've ever seen in my life.
I was watching those highlights, though. No trades. No trades necessary. Just everybody just comes equipped. That's crazy. Didn't they win the national title?
Was that his first year? They were undefeated. It was his first year. He threw like 51 touchdowns. Yeah. Justin Jefferson and Jamal Chase.
That's crazy. Alright, so lost You got them beating the Bucs? No At the Bucs too Yeah, I don't know I don't think so They might be They might be on too Yeah, I mean Mayfield seemed like he on one, man He pissed off They ain't trying to give him a contract He playing for a contract, yeah So Mayfield He's going to be good this year This is a home game First home game Panthers Panthers, that's the dub The Panthers can beat them The Panthers can beat them, but I wouldn't be surprised. If they're all in two, they're going to be hungry. They're going to be all in two. They're going to get a dub.
They're going to be desperate. Home opener. Try not to go down all three. Yeah. Because the Panthers, they can self-destruct. That's a perfect toss-up.
It is. It's a toss-up. Honestly, they might be one and one out of them first two games. I'm going to call it that because their defense is still very good. Jacksonville is not like that, bro. yeah I alright so you going with 2-2 or 1-2 I'm saying the Browns are 2-1 after 3 games I'm going 1-2 I think they'll get one over the Panthers what about the Steelers, Aaron Rodgers Thursday night I think they're going to beat the Steelers because I think the Steelers are going to be awful and it's a home game but the Steelers it's always a close one like they just it's a toss-up i'm gonna say because i already got a win in the game i'm gonna say now they're two and two i'm gonna say losing skills remember no mike tomlin yeah i know i know but but but mccarthy is but mccarthy is competent aaron rogers mccarthy it's this competent that's that old again we're gonna see it we're gonna say they're gonna suck it's gonna be bad who's the jess quarterback it's still um what's his face tyrod taylor no no um he was there no it's not it's not justin fields justin fields in kansas city did they draft one did they draft one no they drafted they drafted they drafted a linebacker Hold on, let me look. Or like a defensive end or something.
Is it Carson Beck? I don't know. No. Oh, it's Gino. Gino Smith. Gino went back to the Jets?
Yeah, that's sick. I did not. Wow. Wow. So, yeah, I got it. Oh, now.
It's just sick. Oh, they're going to beat the Jets. Yeah. Yeah. That's all right. We couldn't even think of the quarterback.
We couldn't even think of the quarterback for five whole minutes. They trash. The Jets are weeks off. That's crazy. Buffalo. Buffalo just love it.
Yeah. They going to be competitive, bro. I'm trying to tell you. I think the Browns are going to be the second best team in our division. No, I ain't doing that. The Bengals are.
You know I like the Bengals, bro. You love them. And they suck every year. Every year they trash. You love them. Why you love them so much?
What's so good about them? They're exciting. I mean, they score almost 40 points a game. And they lose. That's why it's so exciting because the other teams score 50. It's a very exciting game to watch.
Especially if you... Yeah, they fun to watch, but they ain't made the postseason in three years. Yeah, I'll be feeling so bad for that. They do got Dexter Lawrence now. That should help. Didn't Burrow say, I don't know how long I'm going to do this?
Because I can feel that. You feel that? You're scoring 40 points a game, playing perfect games and losing over and over again. It's like, man, I don't know how. I'm already rich. If Burrow makes one mistake, if he throws one interception, it's over.
It's over with. that man that man will go 29 for 32 with four touchdowns one pick and lose yeah man it's a poverty franchise it's all they know they don't even max out their salary cap because they all because their owner is cheap because they're probably they deserve nothing they walk across the street they do they're nasty it's nasty over there they are bro it's the nasty side of our division and i think that the browns are gonna be better than next year yeah bro they they they use the facilities at the stadium they're weak they don't even have a they don't even have a facility they got a practice they got a practice field next to the stadium I'm going with the Bengals, man. Y'all can have the Browns. I like the Browns, but that's not happening now. All right. All right. No, no, no.
What do you mean? The Browns beat the Bengals every year. Max, man, I'm just, I like my life. He like Joe Burrow. He love his white knight. They beat them every year, bro.
He loves his wife. I like watching their games. It's exciting. Until they play the Browns in a 6-6. Yeah. That's what happens.
They don't never score against the Browns. Without fail, bro. Without fail. They get locked up. Yes. And they got, due to research on the Browns, Denzel Ward and the other guys super sticky, though. they're about to be a problem he's super nice yeah like they're about to be super nice i'm i'm frustrated about it i'm not happy but i think the ravens are gonna be so good that it ain't gonna matter but yeah so yeah keep so that was the that's that that's them the first so yeah i think the browns could easily be you know 500. i got a question for you guys you think the you think the ravens should have gave up three draft picks for miles garrett would y'all been okay with that three three three what do you mean three first round picks or just i i think it was two first round a player and i know we had to give up they gave up driver they gave up drivers yeah we would have to give up matter bk yeah but we i don't know if we would have been able to give up matter bk because he hurt he was hurt no it's fine i mean let's just say let's just say we could have all right yeah ah two first rounds another pick and a player that's a lot two and meta bk two first and meta bk from miles grad at 30. that's tough i don't know yeah i don't know it's easy for the rams because the rams don't care i know and but only why i say maybe is because we are kind of done like we could do it and And that would, you know, the defensive line would be much, much better.
And losing Matt Abike, replacing it with Myles Garrett, we're a better defense. Yeah. So, I know it sucks to lose Beaks, but if it's Myles Garrett. Myles Garrett going to get 17 sacks. And some draft picks that could amount to Ojabo. Yeah.
You know what I'm saying? Like, who knows what those futures are going to be, what they're going to yield. But we got Miles Garrett And we had Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry And a ready-made team to win the Super Bowl So like that Let them draft picks go Especially after last year when that was like one of the reasons That we was losing If you're the Jets Or if you're the Arizona Cardinals No, it's not worth it You need the future You need opportunities to get good players But if you already have mad good players We got mad dudes that have been all pro We're in this We're in good shape. Miles Garrett and Kyle Hamilton and Roquan Smith. Oh, my God. Lord.
Yeah, that's like when it โ That would be insane. That would be just as big when the Eagles got Saquon. And a young, defensive, hot shot coach with something to prove. Like, yo. Right. That would have been perfect.
Oh, man. Our whole defense would have been crazy. Hamilton and a lot of cornerbacks would have had a second less to cover I think the defense is gonna be I think the defense is gonna be really good this year anyway Yeah for sure But with Miles Garrett man that would be crazy All right, out of the fantasy world. Yeah, right. He really on the Rams, though. Well, I think that was our last topic.
We kind of went through them. We never did the tiers. We didn't do the Lamar tier two. Oh, yeah, yeah. That's probably our last topic. Who, who, what, where did that come from?
What publication put that out? The Atlantic. Pretty reputable. And the New York, the New York Times did one too, but, but, uh, Barnwell is the, the guy who, uh, or Sandoval is the one that did the, um, so, so, so, so, so. The one for the Atlantic? I think I remember him, but, uh, it was Mahomes.
I have on my Reddit. Okay. I know it was Mahomes, Allen, Stafford, Burrow. That's it. That's tier one. Yeah, tier one.
Tier one was four. Yeah, Patrick Mahomes, one. Josh Allen, two. Matthew Stafford, at three. And Joe Burrow, at four. Joe Burrow over Lamar is disgusting.
Yeah. My thoughts, exactly. Matt Stafford, too. I think Burrow even said Lamar always beats him. Like, he's just like, man. So let me real quick.
Let me explain it so we can know. Tier 1 is saying they can carry a team entirely on their own, win games under any condition, and rarely make fatal mistakes. Tier 2 is high-level starters who win consistently or feature rare dual-threat traits, but might need a strong supporting cast or have minor consistency questions. Tier 3, above average options, above average option who can win playoff games if things around them go right, but won't single-handedly elevate a poor roster. In Tier 4, players will either manage the game well, struggle with heavy turnovers, or temporary placeholders. What did they say the criteria for Tier 1 was? again say that again can carry a team entirely on their own win games under any condition and rarely make fatal mistakes okay what's joe burrow's record as a starter i don't know i don't know what's your bro record as a starter i know i know he's missed a lot of games i know i know he ain't been i know he ain't been in playoffs in three years he was so close i was so close to winning that suit boda bro but you living off living off the 20th living off i ain't never seen somebody live off of that dog i got i got a dude that got an mvp in another year where he only threw four interceptions all year and they act like it didn't happen already.
It happened last year. This should happen within the last 12 calendar seasons. 12 calendar year. Joe Burrow, his record is 43 and 33 and 1. Alright, so let's see Lamar Jackson's record. Joe Burrow just barely over 500. Lamar Jackson's record as a starter is 79 and 36.
Yeah, it's not close bro. We're talking about a three-time first team All-Pro. It ain't too many people ever that did it. At the quarterback position, only one guy every year can do it. Lamar did it three times. He in the mix with Tom and Brett and Peyton and Aaron.
His win percentage is like top five all time. And they got him in tier two though. Tier two. Next to Jared Goff. Yeah, yeah, he don't carry. Next to Justin Herbert.
Next to Justin Herbert. Yeah, Justin Herbert, yeah. It's very interesting. Justin Herbert, the person that every year everybody just loves him because he throws a nice ball. He's very tall. Got a little bit of wheels on him too.
Oh, he's very athletic. And he throws a nice ball. Thank God. Thank God he's an athlete. Maybe it'll stop him from throwing pick sixes. So what's your tier one, bro?
You got four picks, bro. You okay with Mahomes. You ain't never... You talking to Brian and me? I guess we can go down the line I mean Patrick Mahomes has earned his position He a multiple Super Bowl champion He's a multiple-time MVP. He's done it.
He's the guy. So, Patrick Mahomes, until Lamar wins the Super Bowl, he can't really talk to Mahomes quite yet. But if he wins the Super Bowl, Mahomes got to talk to him with a certain tone now. because like I said three time all pro that's different um so Lamar would be two to me Josh I think is three I don't think nobody's been better over the last three four years than Lamar Patrick and Josh what I'm surprised I'm surprised to hear you say that what you mean I I always I always speak about Josh Allen's ability I can't you can't it's undeniable he's he's a great quarterback Yeah, but the gap between Lamar and Josh, I've made that very clear. Oh, I said I don't think anybody's been better. I still think the gap between Lamar and Josh is pretty wide. Right, okay.
I think they just gave Josh an MVP that forced him in this conversation, to be honest. To be honest, if they gave it to Lamar, we could say, Josh, sit over there with somebody else. This is a big boys table of MVPs, strictly. That's not supposed to be. But since they cheated and got him in the game now that I talk about Mike, you know, I gotta mention them with niggas. All right, that's fine Josh Josh to you know, son, he's in there, but but but after that I don't think I think Matt Stafford has to be the guy Yeah Has to be the dude he been he been out there.
I mean look he got puka puka man And I got puka and Devante so Matt Stafford ain't out there struggling he ain't out there he never has he's a rich guy yeah yeah calvin johnson he stay rich you know what i'm saying he's a rich guy so um it's not like but but but he but he delivers the football well he put the ball where he needs to be um super accurate super accurate yeah timing everything and he you know he's seen everything so it's hard to trick him blitz him crazy so yeah i think that's the that's the four and then joe burrow can come in you know saying i don't even i don't even i don't even i don't even i don't even want to yeah yeah the way i feel about jalen hurts is so interesting because i feel like jalen hurts to me is like joe flacco he has so much joe flacco vibes to me of just like i wouldn't pick him in the regular season to try to get to the playoffs with him i don't trust that he gonna necessarily do it right but in the playoffs you might not know might not be too many bigger balls you know what i'm saying it's like it's like uh what's the what's the dude uh dude nick nick nick falls nick like he was a baller he was just a baller like like when they get when when it's cold and when guys are nervous he's cool he's just chilling and he's and he's he's his hands don't get sweaty so like there's just certain guys so i feel like jalen hurts is really like a top of like of that he's like he don't even need to be on the tier jaylar just like off to the side yeah he just He just doesn't have any quarterbacks that except for winning. Yeah, he's a Super Bowl champion, but leader. Bro, I'm trying to tell you that. That thing that Kyler Murray lacks, it makes him not good, really. Jalen Hurts has in spades. Jalen Hurts is overwhelming with it.
He literally led a team to a Super Bowl twice. And did well both times. He's a very good leader, and he did it in college. He did it in Alabama. He went to Oklahoma and was good there. He plays the position, bro.
It just doesn't look like it's not prototypically pretty. I think certain coaches just are not going to be down for him just because of the way he plays. It's just very conservative. Yeah, and I think his offensive coordinator was trash last year, too. Yeah. Who they got this year?
Who they picked? Well let me do my top Well it's basically the same thing as Brian Yeah me too man I think I nailed it Yeah I mean What I think is When it comes to Lamar and Josh I don't see how Josh gets praised Because they decided To make him throw the ball less Oh man That's a real thing. How do you get praised for, they're like, oh, he cut down on the turnovers. And it's like, no, they cut down on his attempts. He doesn't throw it as much as he used to. They run him like, he plays like Cam now.
Yep He plays like Cam and or they hand it off to James Cook the person that they just ignore and act like doesn exist Yeah, it's crazy how much out of schedule, off time and stuff that Josh Allen gets and they act like he's like this perfectly poised QB that does it all the time. I just don't see it. I feel like, honestly, I really think Drake May about to really challenge Josh Allen in this division already. I like Drake May a little bit better already. We'll see. We'll see.
But I just think that I don't see how you put Josh over Lamar. I mean, I guess you can do the playoff success. I don't even like that. Because if you take away Josh Allen's wildcard rounds, which is where he really cleans up, He really cooks in the wildcard round. And you just put him up in the second round, he has a losing record in the second round. And his numbers joined.
He's way different. It's a way different situation. A lot of Josh Allen's success is built up over him playing first rounds in the playoffs. They are lucky that all the playoffs, Lamar's playoffs game is in freezing temperatures. I know. They are so lucky.
If you caught somebody in a dome, they're getting cooked. They're getting cooked. they're getting scorched he's just he just yeah right exactly it's it's just so i think he's getting better in the cold though i do think he's better he's improving he i think look lamar lamar has he's getting better lamar has has come a long way from that guy that started for against the chargers in his first playoff game he had his bumps he made his mistakes and i've seen him i've seen him get better in every playoff game so like he hasn't been he hasn't been the reason why we why we we haven't punched out no no it hasn't been lamar yeah it's been andrews he one of them it's been john and andrews john and andrews and zay they had they played a little part I don't like the blames. I don't like the blames. It was his rookie year. But that fumble was crazy. It was terrible.
It's awful. It was so bad. It was so cold. All he had to do was not reach it out. I know. I know.
We could just run it again. Let's go down, bro. You're good. That's a crazy play, man. Mostly to make up for it and give us a Super Bowl. I'm trying to tell you.
And, bro, we've never seen Ladarius Sneed again. was the last that was his last moment like he went to he took he took a fat contract in in tennessee oh he gone never made never made a play he gone and he just he just get lost to the lost in the vapors lost lost lost in the sauce gone to tennessee i mean even though i i do think cam would i do think cam wood's gonna be good i like him i can't won't be throwing that Yeah, I like him as well. He gonna he gonna move up in these in these tears They got your doors at 35th, right? That's crazy Damn, they really they really they really hate my dog. Who's above Shador who's above Shador? JJ McCarthy they got JJ over the door JJ McCarthy is is probably the worst quarterback in the league Yeah, he not even started 23 bro when we played them last year when we played the Vikings Mendoza here, I think he had like zero yards one game in like the first half of 15 yards with Justin Jefferson. That's crazy Tyler All right guys, they got they got Tyler shook over the shadow they got Tyler sure 26, bro he up here he up above tour of kirk up a good bubble leak well he did play last year he played a lot last year yeah yeah he can be all right but yeah we got i mean we still got to do predictions though we didn't we still didn't um maybe we kind of did it for the browns a little bit yeah we'll do that on the next show i guess right yeah we try to get eddie on that one for sure yeah all right man all right fellas yeah man you cut my time out said it's two hours you got it in an hour man that's the guy yeah it's good that's good all right catch y'all later yeah later peace So,
