is it yeah it's here got the band together got the band together it's been a while it's been a minute it's been a minute yes sir what's going on we got a lot to talk about we back we all back better better than ever better than ever better than ever and what a you know i'm saying what's happening, guys? What's going on? LeBron James joined the 76ers. That's a big deal. That's a big deal. That's a big deal.

Are they immediately favorites now? Did that happen? I would say in the East. That's the million dollar question. I would say in the East. I'm comfortable putting them comfortable putting them above the Knicks already.

I think they're better than the Knicks already. Before they even play one game. It don't matter. I'm not very high on the Knicks, though. I think, shout out to them, they did it, but you know, flashing the pan. I don't think it's going to happen again.

That was crazy. Jalen Brunson and his big old head just did that. That was crazy. I think You know They got a squad They play well together also That's actually the consensus with like most people They think like the Knicks Aren't going to like repeat But here's what I think I think you got To give the respect to the Knicks They did that right They the defending champ so you got to kind of Give them some respect And the only person I think they lost was Mitchell Robinson, right? Yeah, it's a big loss, though. It is a big loss.

No, for real. But I think they replaced him with Andre Drummond, if I'm not mistaken, right? Correct. Okay. So, I mean, I think whatever's left of Andre Drummond, should we say. Right, whatever's left.

Because that's them teeth is long. He was never LeBron. So, when they get old and they was never that good, it's kind of it gets real bad. I need to see a Kevon Looney type of situation. I need to see the Sixers play. You got to see the what?

I said I need to see first of all, what was that for? For Kevin Looney comment? No, for Andre Drummond. I was going to say I need to see the Sixers play first to kind of give a good gauge on how they will be. I don't think Embiid will play until after the All-Star break, right? No, no, no.

All right, so let's go into this. Let's be with like, I know we have assumptions of who's what and what's what, but realistically, I have personnel. I have an All-Star level point guard in Maxi. He's already there. He might be all pro Yeah he's all NBA So we have an all NBA point guard At the two We have a Third and rookie of the year VJ Edgecombe No at the two I think they're going to play Brown right And then Brown's bigger than Edgecombe Edgecombe 6'4", 6'5", Brown's a legitimate 6'6", 6'7 So So Brown will play the small forward position and LeBron will play the four. So that puts all pros at point guard, small forward.

And LeBron is arguably an all-pro power forward at this point in his career. Yeah. He'll be a point forward. And we got Joel Embiid. Now, Joel Embiid is the big question because without Joel Embiid, the team still looks good. It's still LeBron. it's still LeBron, Jalen Brown, and Maxie, and BJ Edgecombe.

That's still dangerous as fuck. With Joel Embiid healthy, though, and so what they're saying is Joel Embiid is the healthiest he's ever been. They said this is the first summer that he didn't have any surgery. He's legitimately feeling the best, eating the best food. Now he's about to be sitting next door to the king, saying with that regimen we've been worried about Joel Embiid's work ethic and regimen his whole career. Now he gets the perfect person to model some things after.

Can you guys hear Brian? Because I can't hear him anymore. Yeah, he cut out. I can't hear him. Hey, Brian. Brian.

Can you hear me? Yo, yo, yo. Yo, yo, yo. Is it me? No, I don't see myself either. I don't hear him.

I don't hear me either. and we lost the screen yo you good we got a screen back can y'all hear me can y'all hear me now that's what you get bro it's payback can y'all hear me y'all can't hear me alright I don't know what happened you hit mute or something this happened last time but I did hit mute I still don't hear him oh damn Brian I'm gone again I'm going to kick you out come back in he was on a roll there too he was talking about Embiid being healthy for the first time I had to look that shit up I was going to say something I don't think Embiid is going to be healthy I mean, maybe in the postseason. We'll see. But I just don't have no faith that that's actually going to happen. He didn't have surgery. I'm saying things are trending for him to try to be healthier than he's been his entire career. So you're technically correct.

Not had any surgeries. But I think it's a huge risk to play Embiid more than like 30 games in the season, though. Okay. But this is my thing with Joel Embiid. In all these other scenarios, he's been asked to be the โ€“ we're looking for Joel Embiid to potentially score 50 points and get 15 to 20 rebounds. I think that that level of production being required has been a drain on him.

I think his body, it's a lot. I do think he can stand out there and be moderately healthy without if you take that scoring load off of him and you take some of the burden offensively and defensively off of him. You know what I'm saying? We've now surrounded him with the best team. Because, like, let's be honest. Paul George, come on.

That's not โ€“ that wasn't, like, a lot of help. No. So that means Joel Embiid's been out here. He's been missing, not getting to the second round. It's been Maxie, who just really arrived last year. What's that sound?

What does it sound like? I don't hear anything. Where did you go? I'm here. Okay. You brought up Joel Embiid.

No, Charles did. That's Charles Cree, you see him. Okay. You hear a sound? No, now it's gone. Okay.

What was I saying? Yeah, basically I'm just saying if you take some of the production load, asking him to be so productive on offense and defense off of him, I think he can last a little. He can be a little bit more durable without being โ€“ because, I mean, he made it through the Olympics just fine. We watched him play in the Olympics over the summer, and he looked fine. He didn't have to do too much. He was like, yo, I got LeBron, I got KD, I got Steph, I'm chilling.

He kind of going to be in that position again. Like, he kind of going to have so many people around him. what oh you know what i didn't know this charles thank you for bringing up this screen so brian this kind of goes to your point so if you see um the stats that he had last year you notice his rebounds are way down only 7.7 per game um points are still solid so yeah that's a good point he's probably not going to be asked to play or to at least do that much at least on the defensive side We've been asking Joel Embiid to score 40 Now we don't need that He still probably Want to get you like 20 to 25 Though right It's cool I mean I'm just saying I know that I can put the ball In Maxie Maxie can go for 30 get hot Jalen Brown can go for 30 get hot VJ Escon could chip in with 25 on a hot night and LeBron Is going to have a LeBron going to have a super Efficient I'm calling him right now LeBron's gonna have a super efficient 18 18 9 and 9 type season. He'll get some rebounds. You're gonna be facilitating that point forward He any don't finally have a season waiting score 20 But it go buddy but he gonna be taking like 10 shots a night You gonna be cool and famous body same time no Brian Brian don like Okay so we have two things right mm You have what you're saying about him be on a more flight limited role not necessarily being that guy anymore And we have the other perspective. I don't yeah, all right But here's the other perspective though Knowing his injury history. Can you? doesn't make sense to play him for more than, like I said, 30 games because you can win with the way that team is structured without Embiid in the regular season because that team right there...

I think you just limit his minutes. Right. How many minutes he played each night. He don't have to play 40 minutes. At the end of the day, bro, that load management doesn't work. We've seen it, though.

Because we tried it with Kawhi Leonard over the years. That has not really worked because he seems to get injured anyway. I think you just have to not play them, period. Like how they did it. You can't do that. You can, though.

You can't. They got a plan. Bro. The commissioner wouldn't let them do that. But players aren't just like โ€“ they're not just like some item that you can just pick up and remove whenever you want to. He's a basketball player.

He wants to play basketball, bro. He doesn't โ€“ he's not going to allow you. You think he's about to sit out for 50, 60 games in a season and be in a good mood when he comes back because you held him out all them games? Hell no, bro. That's not how it works. That nigga wants to play.

I would say, well, Brian, that's kind of what they did last year, though, because he kind of stretched out that appendix injury a little bit longer than what it was supposed to be. And, yes, that's what you do when you have him. But he's already talking about how he's healthy this year, so they don't got no excuses. And it's professional sports, bro. I just don't think you can play scared. That ain't how it works.

You just can't play scared. Football is 100% contact. Everybody can get hurt any single play. But the quarterback play as many games as he possibly can play. You don't just sit out because you think he's injury prone. Let's save him for the fourth quarter.

No. You got to play. You got to get in rhythm. You got to play. You got to be safe. Lamar, though.

What was Lamar? Lamar could have played a little bit more games last year. What are you talking about? Huntley could have played the last game. I mean, Lamar could have played the last game Huntley played in. I think it was against the Packers.

Lamar was actually healthy. And they were like, eh. Lamar Jackson wasn't healthy since the Detroit Lions game week three. So what are you talking about? Oh, I mean, I'm talking about like playing healthy, like he could have played. And I think they had him listed as questionable.

They're just like, now we're going to go with Huntley. But we're on basketball, so we're just going to stick on basketball. Yeah, yeah, I mean, I'm saying I'm sure you're going to see, you know what I'm saying? I'm sure that we're not going to ask Joel Embiid to play 82 games. Okay, that's fine. I'm sure that I'm even probably certain that he's going to be allowed to miss.

They're going to push for him to miss More games than will allow him to win an award Like the goal for Joel Embiid Is not to be eligible For any awards We don't need him playing 63 games We just don't But more than 40 for sure Probably around that 50-55 mark I think that's probably a good spot That means he probably plays Off our numbers then, Bron You act like we have a big disagreement You're saying 50, I'm saying 30-40 I feel like that's like 20 games. That's like a month of basketball. I'm saying 30-40 is... That's too little. I meant like the high 30s. Kind of like last year when he played 38.

Okay, so 40. When are you eligible for awards? What is it, over 60? I think you need over 52. It's 80 games. You've got to play at least 60 games to be eligible.

And he hasn't been that way since MVP season. Yeah. Even then, that was before the rule got and stayed. I don't know if he played all the games. You're right. So, yeah.

Obviously, we can guess on what he could do. But what I'm saying is the talent is there. The talent is there up and down the roster. They picked up Kentavious, Carwell, Pope. I think Anthony Simons is over there too. So they got some shooters.

They got some defense on the wings. I'm saying, if you want to put the Knicks above them because they're the champs, I'm cool with that. I don't think there's any team. I think they clear everybody else in the East pretty easily. And I would be fine with any matchup coming out of the West with that team. I'm cool with Joel Embiid if you got something to take to guard with.

I'm cool with that. We're going to have to deal with him, and they're going to have to deal with each other. That's fine. LeBron hasn't had a big man in a long time. He won a championship the last time he had a legit big man. Not an AD.

Not an AD, but like a legitimate five. Am I cracking on bad? You're slower to 40. Anthony Simons is going to be a very key piece for them off that bench. Yo, I mean Brian, you had the Lakers beating the Thunder Can you hear me now? That's perfect now He did have the Lakers beating the Thunder I think you might be on a LeBron Kool-Aid a little bit Nah, well that was just that was more so just like yeah, yeah, that was more that wasn't like a logical that wasn't like logical I'm talking logically now I think the Sixers team can dominate the East.

They can go. I'm talking logically now. The Laker thing was like a wishful thinking that they could do something, but realistically after they didn't have all their horses. It wasn't like it was Austin. LeBron was out there without Luka, right? Yeah.

Yeah. I just didn't think OKC was clippable, and they were. I saw the chink in their armor, and they ended up not making the final. I still think the Lakers, if they would have had Austin Reeves and Luka Doncic with LeBron, I think they would have beat OKC. I feel that way. But LeBron by itself is kind of crazy at point.

You mean Austin healthy? Yes. With LeBron being a third option, being a third offensive option. I just feel like the Thunder was just moving too fast. They're just running nonstop. I don't think the Lakers could have beaten the Thunder, period, even with all those pieces, just because, like, yeah, they โ€“ listen, we're talking about OKC.

OKC is a very, very, very, very, very good team, right? Yeah, I mean, we're talking about the MVP candidate, you know what I'm saying? Like, Shea's the man. But I will say this. I don't think โ€“ I think OKC is going to take a step back this year, low-key. why I kind of want to see how Jalen comes back I really feel like last year you know they kind of got exposed we saw Chet Chet really not built like that dog I mean but look Chet Chet not built like that to the nigga that's an alien Chet is an alien every other night except for against Wemmy so Chet's fine that's the part that's the part that's like you can look at that one moment against one of the best players in the league and say, oh, Chet's not as good as Wim Minyama, but like Chet's like 7-2, 7-3 and be blocking shots and be hitting threes against everybody else, though. And so I don't have no...

They're still going to be good. And it was crazy. I think they were also talking about maybe moving him as well. That's kind of a shot to your confidence. I kind of feel like they may be number one, maybe number two, but they're not going to come out the West. I don't see it.

And they may even fall back behind the Denver Nuggets, depending on how things shake up. That's where you lose me. I don't see where the falloff comes from. We already know they're going to have a hard time to beat the Spurs. I think that's just the situation right now. As long as there's a guy that's 7'4".

Y'all can't hear me? No, we can't hear you. The Spurs were two games behind them in the Western Conference. Yeah. It doesn't matter. I'm just talking about when they get into the playoffs.

I think the Spurs are going to be a top three seed. I think OKC is going to be a top three seed. I think with OKC, they got to figure out. They get bounced off in the second round. I think OKC has to figure out what they're going to do in the playoffs if your boy ain't going to be getting all the calls. Because that's kind of the wall they ran into.

And the player like Chet, who is a legitimate โ€“ like Chet Holmgren is really one of their best auxiliary players. Like he's the reason for their success most nights. All right. So we've spent 20 minutes on this. So we got to talk about the other stuff we wanted to bring to your attention Oh and also Lou Dort is on I just want to throw that in there as well Oh yeah Oh yeah Okay that a legitimate They lost. That's a loss.

Yeah. You're right. They're not. So now Caruso's a year older. So they lost their best defender, ultimately. So another thing that went viral is Zay Flowers.

Top five receiver. Top 15, top 10. Does he deserve to get paid? Number one or number two? Can we stop putting a lot of creedants on these stupid-ass rankings during the offseason? I feel like this...

It's raising. Yeah, but like... I think I saw Bo Nix is better than Lamar Jackson. Yeah, they just be saying... Can we just stop with these fucking top 100s, dog? Oh, yeah, that's terrible.

I've seen a little โ€“ it was a little list saying that, like, all these different quarterbacks were worth more in the open market. They were like, yo, Lamar Jackson only worth two first-round picks, but Jaden Daines is worth four, and Drake Mays worth five first-round picks. Josh Allen's worth 20. Josh Allen's worth 10 first-round draft picks, bro. They love Josh Allen. Damn, bro.

I need some of Josh Allen's PR. We all could use a little bit of Josh Allen PR because they scrubbed the internet of that playoff debacle. They don't even talk about it. The last time I seen that man play, he looked awful. It never happened. He looked awful, and he won't say it.

They're like, Josh Allen, number one on everybody's list. Even better than Mahomes. Bro. off of literally the worst playoff performance I've ever seen by a superstar. He looked terrible out there. Yo, Zay is a ball-true receiver. Now we're talking about, oh, he only worked 15 mil on the open market.

Who are these people that come up with this shit? I mean, Zay's going to get 35 plus. and he deserves it maybe 40 he might get 40 whatever I mean I feel like he's 30% of our offense no matter how you say it he need to get his touchdowns up yeah I think he deserves it too he got all the stats I agree yeah exactly he's a one yeah he's a legitimate one um i mean you can you know i i guess you can split hairs about i mean i i love him because he's our he's our guy but but i but i prefer a bigger receiver so if i so if i had to go down the list of like who what receivers i would rather have than zay flowers they would probably be all like six two guys you know saying the george pickens the jamar Chases, the Justin Jeffersons, like those are Puka Nakura, like all the guys that are physically more formidable than Zay. But for what Zay does, I think he's better than most. He kind of reminds me, like remember how like people used to put down Steve Smith and Steve Smith just kept on like producing. Oh yeah. But Zay hasn't put his he hasn't put his stamp down and had like Steve Smith won the Triple Crown.

So, like, that's the part. Like, if Zay comes out there and gets most catches and gets most yards and gets most touchdowns, then he'll get respect. But most people just see him as the guy who fumbles in the AFC Championship game, the guy that runs backward when he's trying to do jukes, and the guy doesn't get in zone enough. Like, that's who Zay is to, like, a casual that peeks into the Ravens game. They're like, oh, he's alright. Yeah, but if you watch him he's pretty unguardable.

Right. He's pretty like he's always open. Oh So yeah, in 2005 Steve Smith had a hundred and three catches 1500 yards and 12 touchdowns being five foot seven He's like Five He 5'9". 5'9". Agent 89. Yeah, yeah. He big.

Charles, was you with me at Mad River? He got long arms. Me and Charles bumped into Steve Smith and was it Ladarius Webb? No, no. They said I was Ladarius Webb. It was him and Jimmy Smith.

Yeah, Webb was walking in when we was leaving out. He was like, you know, he looked like Webby. I was like, chill. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, yeah. I mean, Steve, he's 5'10", whatever, but his arms is long, so he's like...

He's got like 62 wingspans. It's just a cheat code. Yeah. So, yeah, but yeah, you're right, Eddie, in the sense of he's an undersized guy in the mix. So, you know what I'm saying? Steve Smith played when, like, Andre Johnson was roaming the earth and Larry Fitzgerald was cooking and we had some, it was a lot of big, bigger receivers doing a lot of damage and Steve Smith held his own.

I think, I think, I think Zay Flowers holds his own against the bigger guys but we just got some, we got some studs wide receivers in the league right now. Like, like, Jamar Chase is as good as, like, Jordan Pickens is as good as we, like, anybody type shit. Like, he get open, when that ball in the air, I pick Pickens a lot to come down with. you know it's crazy too people don't even know this but um zay flowers has one of the highest cash percentages for a wide receiver like he only got about 118 targets when you got other dudes getting like 150 170 targets and he catches at a 60 percent clip right by that's enough that's another aspect of his production it's like like your production just isn't going to look a certain way when derrick henry is your running back and lamar jackson is your quarterback like not because don't have that. Right. Not because Lamar Jackson can't deliver the football, but because he just is a weapon of other weights. You're going to get yards thanks to dump down to the tight ends, to the running backs, and then you've got to give a ball to Derrick Henry 20 times.

We look dumb when we don't give a ball to Derrick Henry 20 times. Right. So, yeah. I'm on the Zay train. Yeah, just The question is it does he deserve 30 mil or something? What'd you say?

It was a few questions. Oh It was He deserves top money because I think he's been to the Pro Bowl. What's that rule with them? Was it preble? Yeah, so what in the rookie contract, so I think there's a rule where he has to get like top money Yeah The average You top five whatever so Well, I think that's That's what the fifth year option is It's the average of the Top five receivers Yeah, you know what He's in a good he's in a good situation Because him and Jackson Smith and the Jigba came in the same year And Jackson they probably gonna give Jackson Top dollar, right? He already got it He already got it Oh, he already got it? yeah he jumped he jumped your my chase Wow oh wow he wanted to be ground so they said to hell with your um rookie contract we just gonna pay you off the rip yeah they paid him after the Super Bowl oh okay yeah some some franchises don't like leaving their players hanging I mean, technically, 170 million.

God damn. They maxed him out, bro. They gave him the he's the highest paid receiver, I think. Yeah, the Ravens ain't doing that. I mean, they would have to he would have to win the Triple Crown, too. He would have to.

Yeah, I don't even I wouldn't even want to do that. If they if they want the Triple Crown at this point, like that's it. That's insane. 170 million dollars Golly You definitely got to say goodbye to Derek Henry That's insane We got to win this year I don't know how we going to keep it But also Seattle's in a precarious Not a precarious but like in an advantageous Situation they don't got to pay their quarterback Their quarterback I mean Darnell Making okay money right You winning with a less than A less than superstar quarterback Yeah, that's always the win. If you win with a rookie or a less than superstar, then you can do other things. But right now, the Ravens are trying to win with everything. We're trying to have a superstar at every position.

And John Harbaugh was holding us back, I swear to God. I have no idea. Yo, have you seen what's coming out of New York, bro? Have you seen? Yo, they're having a terrible offseason. Bro.

That press conference? I mean not the press conference the meeting with the team Oh my God It was so bad Every wall in New Jersey is safe Ain nobody running through shit Ain't nobody running through no walls for that man. Yeah, yeah. We're safe. Good luck to them. How you talking about John Harbaugh like that.

How you run out you're welcome before week one, dog. He's just being himself, yo. I just feel like they're just so depleted. I'm looking at it and I'm just like, yo, this is about to be terrible. You got Jackson Dart. He concussion prone.

You got Scatterbowl is crazy. CTA is not real. It's not real. I already know what that means. He's going to be robbing in a Bronco somewhere. Going full speed.

He's going, yeah. And then, um. They don't know what's going on with neighbors. Neighbors in a cane. He's now on the pup list. So that is a bright spot for them.

Is he going to be at training camp? He's supposed to be at training camp, yeah. But I think not being on the pup list is more so meaning that he can play before week four. Because if you put him on the pup list, you're out until week four. so neighbors is expected to recover they say but but bro this has been a long arduous rehab like that that's a scary that's a scary situation for such a young player um so yeah like what's the what's what's the bright spot if you you got abdul carter beefing with jackson dart yeah that's a real thing bro we got we got a trump supporter and we got a They are not. They are not. They are going to be at odds.

Come on, son. And then the top of the other kick is Falele. It's their best guard. They're going to get that poor boy killed, bro. The Giants already had a bad O-line. Oh, yeah, they had a real bad O-line.

Now they're putting in the mix. Oh my God. With a concussion prone quarterback, this is about to get wicked out there. This is about to get crazy, dog. And John will be out there at the podium like, yeah. I don't know.

I'm not going to discuss that right now. He's going to be saying some bullshit. No, he's going to be like, did y'all talk to the running back coach? I don't know. Y'all got to talk to him. You'll be pointing fingers at other people It's his move He has full Roster control He asked for that specifically He said I need 100 million dollars And I need full roster control I need all my coaches I need to be able to Everybody's forgetting Odell on that team too Bro They got Juju Smith-Schuster over there They got no ACLs They got a dancing nigga they're having a match.

Hey, I can't wait. They're going to be entertaining, bro. They're going to be entertaining. That's for sure. Every week there's going to be something going on with the Giants. Guaranteed.

Yeah, yeah. No, I'm saying I just think this is about to be a mess. Bro, they gave Harbaugh $20 million a year. Yeah. Yo, and he's still getting paid with us. Yeah.

And he bought 20 mil. when you said he shouldn't take the money I mean took the job if you think about it whoever's going to take that job is just a fill-in you know two, three years nah, nah, nah, nah they hired John Harbaugh to win they hired John Harbaugh to be a stopgap the reason why he got picked up as soon as he became available they went and got him he was one of the best coaches on the market this is not a stopgap him not succeeding would be a real blow that they didn't anticipate. Yeah, but if you look at that division, they think that they're going to be better than the Eagles? Well, then they should have did more in free agency. Their free agency looks awful. That's what I'm saying. No, no, bro.

We got them doing what John Harbaugh did. I don't know if they expect to be better this year, But I do think they expect Hall ball to turn it around Sooner than later You know Probably within the next Two to three years Is my guess Eagles will need to collapse And I do not see that happening Cowboys will have to suck I mean Cowboys defense may be some track We know offensively they're going to put up points And then the commanders Let's not act like the commanders some shit Like they literally I mean they got injury Pro last year but the year before That they went all the way to the NFC championship game So just off of that you have to think Okay at least they're going to be competitive Like where's the Giants in that mix Like I don't even And the thing is the problem is they don't even know If the quarterback can play They do Jackson Darts alright I don't I mean I don't think they know that yet Because if shit goes south this year They're not going to blame Harbaugh. They're going to blame him. Listen, listen. The New York Giants, because I got to bring this back to before John, because I got hate for John Harbaugh, and John Harbaugh is justifying my hate every day he's in that situation. I know why I don't like him.

But before he went there, the New York Giants looked like a very advantageous position for a quarterback, a coach to go. we're talking about a top five defensive line we're talking about an up and coming rookie quarterback and a top wide receiver obviously he was hurt but you expect him to come back and be something too so like I think in most people's eyes the G-men are on the up and coming yeah I agree so if they don't continue going up is that on Harbaugh? Yeah Because here's the thing The very first thing The very first thing Harbaugh did when he got there He was like Who did he get rid of? Not Carden Yeah That's the Lord He signed all his guys He got Patrick Ricard up there He brought in all his guys He literally poached The Ravens poached us In like a nasty way I'm pretty sure Greg Roman's on the staff too. Greg Roman's on the staff, bro. Running back with Greg. Yeah, I'm telling you, bro.

John Harbaugh has been living off of Greg Roman's fighting. I don't know if he's OC. I don't know if he's OC, but I know he's on the staff. I think he's like QB coach or something like that. Running back coach. Running back coach.

Running back coach, yeah. You know he bringing Greg Roman, bro. Like, what are you talking about? Look up his staff, bro. Look at the staff. The staff is wicked.

It's like a who's who Are old white dudes It's a who's DPs Yeah it's a who's It's just a who's who Yeah bro John Harbaugh I know what he like He don't want nobody talking back He bringing his friends bro He bring his homies That's the problem bro he's too chummy I don't like it This is gonna be sick Yo yo You just had to get to John Harbaugh I love I love watching them. I just I'm about to be hate watching the John's Yeah, me too The Giants and there's no better hate watching the jobs in the bills. I swear they just this this is gonna be this gonna feed families This only bought in Willie Taggart. So they got our running back. Okay, tag it. I like to tag it did a good job here All jokes aside tagger taggers.

No, but yeah tagger Greg Roman fucking Matt Nagy Matt Nagy who is Matt Nagy is he OC he was the Bears coach is he OC or is he QB coach he's the OC oh Kansas City just got rid of him he's in charge he has a lot of stuff he's he's in charge because you know You know, Harbaugh not gonna have nothing to do with that offense. He's a special teams guy. Like, yeah. John's in charge of the speakers. We see how that goes. Oh, man.

John's in charge of getting people fired up. So we already... He said, we are the New York Giants. The New York Giants. It's bad. It's gonna be fun.

Yeah, it's going to be fun. I'm ready for the NFL to come back, too. We're about 40 days out, for real. The NFL coming back is very exciting. Oh, John is sick, man. They brought in Brian Callahan?

Yo. It's bad, bro. I'm done. They reached mad hard on the first round draft pick. Arbel Reese is a project. He's not.

We talked about I'm back at a deep day. They're going to put his hand in the dirt. They think he about to be Michael Parsons. John, I'm trying to tell you, bro. John Harbaugh made one good decision in the last 10 years. And he's been, he's living instead of, instead of drafting offensive line help for that young quarterback, you draft a linebacker.

This is like sicko. He's a real sicko. You get to know him. The job's gonna find out that he's a real sicko. He was like now we don't we don't need any guards. We got foul Lele You plug and play We're secure Mm-hmm.

This is about you don't never get hurt, bro. You don't never got worried about him getting hurt He's so sorry and durable He's so sorry and durable Won't nobody roll up on his leg Won't nobody I was out there watching Hoping for somebody to roll up on his big ass ankle And it never happened He's too big bro He's too big Motherfuckers just be bouncing off of him Yeah and he would fall before anything happened It's like yo he just gets beat so immediately He's like out of the plane And he has no chance to get hurt I never seen something so poor. I'm so glad it's over. I just feel like, Charles, when the season ends and we're clearly in a better place, will you accept that it was a good decision to move on from John? I'm on a Super Bowl or bus type thing, bro. so... I mean, we on that with or without John, though.

So there's no solace in anything other than the Super Bowl for you? No. Making a Super Bowl or winning? I can't handle losing a Super Bowl, so we don't have to win. I'd rather not make it. Yeah, like, that's...

We ain't never experienced that before as fans. This has been nasty, bro. This last eight, seven, eight years, bro, we've been losing at the first seed. We've been losing on the road. We've been losing at home. I don't expect Lamar to lose the Super Bowl in good weather or a dome.

Oh, yeah, you're right. That's true. I do not expect that. Once we get through that cold, man, he ready. Yeah, exactly. Once we get him out that cold, but it's so hard.

We go to Buffalo to win these. We go to Pittsburgh. I mean, shit, hopefully we just don't got to go to Buffalo, bro. They just don't want to play there. It's too windy It's too windy But Buffalo It's a lot more competition In their division now It's not like the cakewalk It used to be for them to just win the division Oh yeah, New England On the A I think New England Is going to win the division again I think New England Technically probably has a better team than them but Buffalo just has a superstar quarterback. And James Cook.

Buffalo's not bad. They got the best offensive line to lead. Yeah, but New England's defense is better than Buffalo. Yeah, for sure. So, yeah. I just don't really believe in Drake May.

What I saw in that Super Bowl last year was, I mean, in that playoff run last year was not pretty. Yeah, no. He's not that good. we'll see we'll see he's still young but he's all right he's all right he's big yeah yeah what's up what's up what happened but on it I just put Raven Super Bowl in the Umbana. Oh, my God. Yeah, bro. I'm trying to go back to back to back.

I'm sick of it. We deserve at least a back to back. That'd be nice. All this stuff we've been through with them. It's just that we're running out of excuses. You know, it's...

Agreed. People have done more with less at this point. Arguable, but I mean, I think that at the end of the day, bro, you know, in the NFL, more so than in the NBA, coaching is so important. And I just feel like we've been behind the eight ball ever since we let Mike McDonald leave. I feel like we really had that extra kick. Now we got it again.

Jesse Mentor and Jack McGill, I think we got something. yeah hey Devin you got something for our last topic bro what's the last topic I don't know you know we got something that you want to get more talk about we got the Ravens got the LeBron what was that question you wanted to ask me oh yeah so yeah my bad this will be quick bro What happens if LeBron wins A super Sorry I said a super we're talking about What happens if LeBron wins a championship With Philly bro What you mean He gonna try to win another one Do Do he get His jersey retired at all four places Um I don't know The reason why I would say He not gonna get his jersey retired in Philly Is just because he not gonna be there long enough to to really make it Like that like four years is probably the is probably the smallest run to have some The Miami thing he'll get credit for. But I don't think he cares. I think Philly wants a championship. And if LeBron wants to tie Jordan. That's what he wants. I don't know, but bringing a championship to Cleveland and Philly, giving Cleveland their first and giving Philly their first one since before he was born, that would be โ€“ you don't have to get six if you got big ones like that.

And then he still got his two in Miami and another one in Washington. But I think it's about the, he has, it's, it's open that he can get six. Yeah, he could get six. He could, if he would have, if he, if he would have went to Cleveland, it's, it's probably not a good chance. He's going to go back to back, but with Philly, they might be good enough to go back to back. Right.

Yeah. So it's a, it's a, it's more of an opportunity to tie Jordan. I will say that it's a really good mix of young and old, of athleticism. Like it's a good. Yeah. so that's what it told me that's what it told me going to philly it told me that he's like i just i want to win as many rings as i can before i retire right and he was trying to win them in la and i swear on everything i love the front office in la was not fucking with lebron james this that entire time was a fight they was not fucking they they kept being like you old bro we cannot do what you want us to do and hamstring ourselves to a dude that's about to be 40. And LeBron just keeps playing.

It's like, yo, you could have just did what I wanted you to do when I was 38, 39 and we could have been done with this. Y'all could have moved on. We could have won a couple more times. But instead, you can't act like I was already too old and wanted to turn the page. And now, you just let years get wasted. It's like, I don't know.

They made some really bad trades. The Russell Westbrook thing was like a miss. That was a straight up the team wanted to do that. LeBron and AD sat with Russell Westbrook and had come play with us and it just didn't work. I think the Kuzma trade was also pretty bad too. Letting Kuzma leave?

Not even just letting Caruso leave instead of Horton Tucker. Instead of Talon Horton Tucker was weird too. Yeah. The trade package they got. Listen, that package set the stage for where the Wizards are today. So I'm not mad.

Yeah, and also Kyle Kuzma sucks. So, you know what I'm saying? Like, losing Caruso matters because Caruso was legitimately a vital piece to a championship team. Kyle Kuzma has done nothing but wander around the league and date Willie Harlow. He was a good role player. He was a good role player on that championship team though.

Everybody looks good with LeBron, but we have to just accept this. When you sit next to LeBron, make every regular dude look like a dude that's worth 50 mil. Tristan Thompson looked good with LeBron. Like, everybody looks good. You get paid when you're with LeBron. Kyle Kuzma has to look like a stitch of what he looked like when he was in LA.

He ain't look like that. Washington was upset. Milwaukee been pissed. Like, he ain't been that good. Yo, we finessed the shit out of him for that trade, though. Like, I remember when I saw that trade, we gave him, like, trash for Kyle Kuzma, and they was, like, and they were happy about it.

And then we done turned that trash into some draft picks. I think we got Denny I can always pronounce his name. Denny Avia? I think we got a good we got that pick from them and he ended up being an all-star. Not with us. Yeah, I got you.

Not with us. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We just developed him and then they sent him to Portland at the last second where he became an all-star. That was a good team ahead though, Brian, because they also had Dwight Howard and Rayjean Rondo. They had a solid team. Some role players, for real.

Oh, you talking about that Laker team that won? Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That Laker team that won was real good. That Laker team that won in the bubble was the number one team in the league before COVID. So it wasn't like they just showed up to the bubble and just beat everybody.

They was busting everybody's ass before they shut down for a second. But to your point, though, to your point, it's like after that, they, like, stopped listening to LeBron or stopped putting, like, good role players around him and just thought everything was going to magically work out. I don't know. It's weird. Well, they started after that year. You knew it was funny when after that year they decided to let Dwight Howard and let JaVale McGee.

Like they let, they let, Anthony Davis said he didn't want to play the five. And then, and they basically was like, you're going to play the five. We're going to force you to play the five. We're not going to bring no big dude in here to help you out. And that was the beginning of them not listening to what the team wanted. And I think that it just started to get close to like, like I said, LeBron started getting older.

When a dude started pushing 40, you don't expect him to play two, three, four more years at a high level. You didn't think LeBron was going to be averaging 22 last year? That's crazy. The fall-off has just been far slower than anybody anticipated. And so the Lakers just got caught waiting for it to end a little bit too soon. Yeah.

Instead of trying to compete. Well, that's what Golden State's about to do. If Steph don leave Golden State going to sit around and not try to exhaust their options because they want to they things to do and they want flexibility after Steph retires Steph in his sunset time T he only got a couple more years left. We're not about to go all in and set ourselves up to not be able to make no moves in the next five years after Steph's gone. That's just the business of it once you start looking at guys getting older. Clay Thompson's coming to the Philly, right?

Clay Thompson is a free agent. is? He's a free agent. He's a free agent. He's a free agent, bro. Free agents can do what they want. Yeah, I think he's going back.

Would you want Clay Thompson? If Clay Thompson wants to come off the bench and shoot threes, sure. Sure. What? I think LeBron will find him. I think Maxie would like having a dude to space the floor.

Yeah. He's not good enough to be a quality starter anymore. But I think that he'd be, I think he can get hot and provide veteran leadership off the bench. I mean, anytime you get an opportunity to get a four-time champion on the roster, you take it. That's why I don't like any noise from any fan base that's like, yo, we didn't want LeBron. We didn't want LeBron to come to our team.

He's like, bro, he played for $8 million. dollars. He's playing for $3.9 million and he's a four-time champion. And having him in the playoffs is going to be way better. Yeah. It's so valuable having him in the playoffs. Right.

In the playoffs, LeBron is still a top 10 player. He's still a top 10 player in the playoffs. In the regular season, you can drop him down to 25 if you want. But I don't know who there's not too many guys that can still manipulate and carry a franchise by themselves when a series on their own what are you saying Charles I said Eddie you got one more thing you got one more thing before we call it no I'm good I'm straight I don't think I have anything I do want to mention that I don't know how tapped any of you guys are with baseball, but the Orioles they got a little hot. We're still about two games under 500, but we're in the playoff hunt, so that should mean something. But we're nowhere near as good as we thought.

Gunner's not that good. Gunner's been two games this year? Gunner's been two. He's not a couple games this year? I've been to a couple I've been to I think I've been to one I'd like to go see that stadium They're about to play the Phillies this weekend Oh true or this week coming up I mean tickets was reasonable for a minute right Oh yeah Yeah they're still reasonable $15-$20 you can get you in the door Yeah All I want to do is just sit on the flight deck and drink and booze. Buy the ticket.

You can find it. Yeah, stay on that flight deck. And honestly, bro, I went down to the joint. I went to Will Call and bought a ticket at the gate. They be cheaper than the online joint sometimes. Yeah, true.

I remember you telling me about that. You said, how is that? Yeah. Because the online joint must be resale prices. Oh. The Orioles are selling tickets as well.

Not just people who bought tickets and are reselling them. Sometimes you can get... It's not like a third-party vendor. You got to pay taxes and fees on it. It's just like the ticket. It's like, we got two for 35, two for 20, two for 32.

Yeah, that's actually smart. You could just walk there. They play Philly this weekend, and then the following, so during next week, August 3rd, they play the LA Angels. and you can get tickets right now for $13. I ain't trying to see the Angels. One show left. Is Mike Trout still out there?

Yeah, Mike Trout's still there. Oh, that's worth it. Mike Trout having a discipline. I got to make it to Bucks. I'll probably try to catch the home opener or something for the Bravens. Yes, sir.

I let my season tickets go, so it's going to be bittersweet. but we'll see. Who is the home opener? Ah. Our first game was away, right? Yeah. And then the third game we played the Cowboys in Brazil.

When is the home opener? We play the Saints at home on September 20th. The first game we play, we go to Indianapolis. Yeah, the plan was the plan was to go to the home game against the Saints, catch the flight on Monday. Oh, and go down and go straight to Brazil. Go to Brazil.

Yep, come back. Is that a home game in Tennessee? Who's the... Wasn't you going to go to Columbia while you was down there too? Yes, yes. All right, so we go...

Hold up. We go to the Saints. We go to Brazil. And then we come back to Baltimore and catch the Tennessee home. Oh, yeah. I wasn't going to come back from Brazil.

You was warning us. Yeah, I'm about to do this one way. I'm about to do this one way. I'm free. I'm free. I just see what happened.

I just fell in love with a girl from the favelas. Walked off into the sunset Yeah What happened to Brian I don know He just walked off All right When are you coming back I figured out Man I can believe it He found a car more complexed joint, and she said she was his. And he believed her. I don't know the next time I'm going to Columbia, South Carolina. I love you South Carolina yeah it's a major city out here there is a city in South Carolina called Columbia yeah it's actually pretty pretty bad it's not it's not Columbus not Columbia it's called Columbia and when I talk about Columbia everybody thinks talking about that so oh okay all right well shoot we normally talk for two and a half hours we're trying to keep these under an hour especially because it's in the offseason. Yeah, no, I think we hit some good points.

Yep. Nnamdi Manabike is back, by the way. He's on the PUP, but he's cleared to play. I don't know how I feel about that. Is he going to be at training camp? He'll be at training camp.

That's good. I don't know how I feel about that. I sent y'all that one clip. Can your neck and your spine heal? I mean, I guess when you're rich, you have different kind of medical cutting edge stuff. But can your spine and your neck heal?

I mean, did they do that for Peyton Manning? Yeah, with stem cells. Yeah. So he went overseas and got stem cells, but I don't think you got to go overseas no more for stem cells. I think you can get it here. Here's the thing with Meta BK.

He can't retire. He just signed that contract. He ain't get that contract money yet. Yeah, because he already gave some of it back already. Sorry, buddy. He got to play.

He got to play. So, I mean, that's cool. I mean, we'll see. we'll see how it goes. I mean, if he comes back, I mean, bro, we need health, bro. We need health. But we got Nnamdi, we got Trey, we got Trey Henderson.

Nnamdi got 30 mil on the table. Yeah, you know another thing about those doctors is that they look at it, they compare him like they're regular people, where he literally bangs his head against the wall for four hours every Sunday. That first game is going to be telling because you know what I mean? Like it can either go well or, you know, he could get that same injury again. I mean, you don't really know what, you know, neck injuries, stuff like that. You don't really, you can't really tell until you start playing again.

Right. And in his prime, he was getting double teamed. So, I mean, shoot, if he's healthy, he's legit. I mean, I think the line's a little better now than it was. so he should have some more help in the line. Yeah, we'll see. I mean, he's a grown man.

Dr. Slardom. Yeah, he got to get that contract money. You got to play. Yeah. Got to play.

Lamar got to get that contract money. What are we doing? not really it's the most situation different he he's not gonna sign that contract until probably after the next after the season i mean next off season lamar lamar's in the driver's bro he he know he he know he gotta get paid top dollar whenever it's time to get paid they he already got in his contract and they can't franchise tag him to drag it out no longer they can't trade him they you gotta you gotta just you just gotta pay you gotta pay the man And all Lamar got to do is do what he keeps doing. Just go out there when he's healthy and cook. And make it undeniable. And just wait. Because if somebody else gets paid again, then Lamar gets more money.

Bingo. It's like, who the next up? Jaden Daniels is probably about to get paid. CJ Stroud. CJ Stroud got to get paid. What if he get hurt, though?

It's probably about to be time for Joe Burrow to re-up again probably soon. What if he get hurt? What if who get hurt? I mean, that's a risk. That's a risk no matter what. It's a risk, baby.

It's a dangerous position. It's a dangerous game. Like, he could get hurt. I feel like he's missing a contract, though, because Josh Allen almost on his third contract. Well, they already re-signed Josh Allen. Yeah, they re-signed.

First off, they signed Josh Allen after three years. They didn't wait no time. They immediately was like, yo, let's play Josh. So that's what I mean. Yeah, they put him on a different trajectory than Lamar, who they made literally shake ass. They made him shake ass for that payday.

MVP. That ass, dawg. They were like, get out there and do it again. And again. And again. We don't believe you.

Do it again. Don't want an MVP. They still was like, we're not sure. That's that John Harbaugh shit. I'm trying to tell you. Hold on one second.

But yeah, are we wrapped? Is this it? Yeah, I got to drop out. Yeah, me too. Okay, bro. All right.

Yeah, it's probably, yeah. All right. Later. Peace. Later.
