Right. We in here, bro. Yeah, we back. Consistency. That's that's the key, right? Yeah.
They want us back. We with the streets been missing. We got some some big news. I mean, to be fair, the timing is because of the big news. Big news, bro. Big news.
Once again, Big surprise. Once again, LeBron James has moved on to a new team. Yeah. The Philadelphia 76ers. Man. Yo, it makes it.
Man, that's pretty incredible. Yeah. I know Philly is excited. I feel like that it makes so much basketball sense, but nobody was really expecting it. Right. You know, and I got to give you, you called it, though.
You called it. You said he's going to sign for low. I wasn't I wasn't expecting that. I thought he was going to want the 25, 40, 50 mil. If you already if you already decided in your mind that you want to compete, you can't you can't compete and then ask to join something and then ask for 40, 50 plus million dollars, 20, even 25, even You're 42 years old. He's a billionaire.
He doesn't need any money. He could do it. He would do it for free. They're being you know, it's like, why did he take the pay cut for the Lakers? The Lakers have proven that they're not they don't listen to him. they don't make the roster that he wants and they force them to play what he wanted to. So he's like, I'm not taking no pay cut for y'all.
What y'all going to do with the extra money if I take a haircut? Go pick somebody that I don't want. You know what I'm saying? So I'm happy that he made the best decision for himself. And the Philadelphia 76ers, I mean, we're talking about a team that hasn't won a championship since 1983. we're talking about a team that hasn't seen an NBA final since 2001 like if LeBron James brings a championship trophy if he completes the process with Joel Embiid I mean the conversation the go conversation has been over for me since he came back from 3-1 but I feel like even if like imagine Let's hypothetical this out real quick Imagine if LeBron comes in And I just got finished putting the teams together On the 2K to see what it looked like They might be really good on defense bro Like we're talking about Maxie, Edgecombe, Brown Embiid on the back end And LeBron on the back end Like you really can shut everything down They might be really scary defensively But imagine If they Pop in and win a championship and do it back to back. Right.
And LeBron finishes with six. Right. What are we going to say? 25, 26 years, six championships. I'm sure he might get a final MVP out of one of them. Might, yeah. I'm saying, look, in reality, LeBron at 42 shouldn't be asked to carry and honestly can't alone carry a franchise right now.
So when you go into the league, you know what I'm saying, even if he's the fourth or fifth option throughout the season offensively, he's still going to have the ball in his hands. He's still going to be playing point forward, getting mad dimes. And when the playoffs come in small spurts, LeBron's still going to be giving you 30 if he has to. He just don't have to. He won't have to no more because he got a lot of other options to get points. What do you mean by carry a team?
You're talking about carry a team to the playoffs or carry a team to a championship? I'm talking about every night being the man, the vocal point of a team. LeBron's been the vocal point of every team he's been on up until last year with Luka Doncic and Austin Reeves. He's the game plan beforehand, the night before. they make sure that LeBron James name is up and down that list of what the scouting report. Right. And this and last year was the first year.
That he wasn't the main, the priority offensively still got to deal with him. But I think that even once once Luca and Austin was gone and he had to carry, he still could do it for a spurt. But it was like, oh, like if he had to do this for a season, it probably wouldn't. It probably would be bad. Like, he would just get gassed. I like the point forward role that he was playing on the Lakers, though.
Yeah. That was working. Yeah. I mean, he can do. Ultimately, LeBron creates what Carl Anthony Towns just did for the Knicks. The way the Knicks improved in the playoffs by running their offense through Cat and having to beat that little, you know what I'm saying?
And him having good playmaking ability and timing and touch with his passes. LeBron is an elite passer. If you're going to put talent around him, he's going to find the passes. He's going to find the cutter, the kick pass across court. That's his specialty. Yeah.
So guys are going to β I mean, who you can focus on? You know what I'm saying? If it's not all eyes on LeBron, he's going to take somebody. Yeah. And if you start trying to cheat and help out, he's going to always make that pass. Now it's Jalen Brown in the corner, three.
Now it's Maxie cutting back door, bang. Now it's Embiid alley-oop. It could get bad, yeah. I feel like that no matter how much these tickets are, I got to go to a game. I got to see this. I got to see it.
And everyone I talk to kind of feels the same way. That this could be LeBron's last year or it could be next year. But you got to see him in that Philly. It's a lot of Philly fans. And it's outside of Philly just because of AI. Yeah.
Yeah, no. Go ahead. like growing up AI was like the whole league so they all back you know what I'm saying a lot of my friends that I didn't even know were Philly fans they were just keeping on the low but they out now oh yeah they out now yeah you know there's been a lot of talk obviously you know there's a lot of people who disparage LeBron sometimes to unnecessary forced extents where they just have to go out of their way to try to find some fault in his actions. But, I mean, to be fair, LeBron didn't receive the welcome to L.A. that he should have received. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. As a superstar, as a face of the league, as an ambassador for the sport, as a former champion and MVP, he was not welcome to LA with open arms.
They vandalized his murals. They did all kinds of... The Lakers fans were burnt, were just like, you know, they felt so inclined to fight for Kobe's legacy and him being the best Laker that they just had. And they didn't want to let LeBron overshadow that in LA. I think that's a little bit selfish, but whatever. But the Philadelphia 76ers don't have that.
You know what I'm saying? The last thing they had was AI and then Andre Iguodala. They haven't, you know what I'm saying? Joel Embiid has been there, but they haven't tasted success. The Lakers are very championship robust. We got 15, 14 NBA championships.
If you don't win a championship, you ain't with us. So like, it's not like that in Philly. And I feel like they're being a lot more gracious. The fan base is a lot more like excited to have LeBron, excited for the opportunity to compete for a championship for real, get out of the second round, make it to the Eastern Conference finals and represent the East in the championship series. So for that, I'm very excited. where does this put the Lakers where does this put the Lakers let me look at this let me pull up the the Lakers roster because it's white over there it's super white over there they got Luka Doncic Austin Reeves Walker Kessler then they got Quentin Grimes, Colin Sexton Ronnie and they got Dalton Connect, Jared Vanderbilt Keep On Looney do that sound like a a lineup that's going to be competitive in the Western Conference to you? Luka Doncic, Austin Reeves, and Walker Kessler?
I mean, they do got Bronny over there. I mean, they do got Bronny. Look, I'm never going to say nothing bad about Bronny, dog. Bronny, he's a second-round draft pick. He almost died at USC and now he's a legitimate bench player. He might give you a three.
He might give you a good assist. Give you a steal. Lockdown. Lockdown on the perimeter. Yeah. I ain't mad at Bronny.
Bronny going to get some tick this year for sure. do you think I guess I'm saying how much will LeBron be missed? For your third option to be, to go from your third option being the greatest player potentially of all time to your third option becoming Quentin Grimes Bronny Dalton Connect is that your who your you know what what I saying Walker Kessler not an offensive weapon So it like that what happened Does that mean the Lakers are a play-in team? Let's see. I feel like LeBron even... they wouldn't have made it that first round in the playoffs. Who? I'm trying to think of LeBron as far as his impact.
He wasn't... You're not sure of his impact. Well, in the playoffs, it was all LeBron, as far as playing point forward, making the play. But he also... Man, those players around him, they've been playing with him. They're kind of ready to shine.
They're ready to go. Man, that guy from the Wizards, he was like 30% from three. Then he went up to like 45% from three. Yeah, every time I say it, bro. First round draft pick. Been on the Lakers for a couple years.
What's his name? What are you talking about? You know what I'm talking about, bro. He playing for the Lakers now? He been on the Lakers like last three, four years. Oh, Rui Hachimura.
Yeah. Yeah, it became like a knockdown. He on the Clippers now. Yeah. They didn't pay him. They should have paid him.
Right. So, oh, yeah, Sandro Mamukalechiavelli. I don't even know. I can't even pronounce it. He was in Toronto. But he did.
A.K. Orekiki. Orekiki. Orekiki. Yeah. Zion Williams.
They got some. Yo, I don't know, bro. I don't know. I said LeBron James is a very impactful player. He matters in the locker room. I know what you're trying to say.
You're trying to say that the Lakers ain't going to make the playoffs next year. I would be. It's hard to say that because Luka Doncic can carry. Luka can carry But Yeah But also Luka needs help He can't do it by himself Because Luka don't play defense See that's the part about Carrying a team Leading a team and carrying a team Luka has an unmatched Offensive Article He can score 60 on any given night. He can just dog you out and score 60. But the impact, and he is a good passer.
He is a good passer. So he can facilitate and score. So he's constantly creating offense for it. He's an offensive solar system all to himself, the way that he plays basketball. But he doesn't play defense like that. He doesn't play defense like that, and health has consistently been a concern.
So that's the thing with LeBron His greatest ability His whole career has been availability His ability to carry Has been matched with his ability To stay healthy So now I'm looking at Before they had LeBron could get hurt Austin Reed could get hurt You still have Luka Austin Reed could get hurt Austin Reed could get hurt You still got LeBron Austin Reed could get hurt LeBron could get hurt You still got Luka Doncic Now Austin Reed and Luka Doncic Who don't play defense Have to be healthy the whole time. And I don't even know if 35 and 35 is enough on a nightly basis if you don't play defense. Right. Yeah, I don't know. We'll see. Obviously, we'll see.
But yeah, I did think that I do believe that LeBron's impact to the Lakers is important. And to be fair, I have never seen him leave and the team get better or even stay the same. That's not how it works. yeah but you know lebron is nice and and and as far as even now but man he is a shadow of himself though we've talked you agreed we've talked about this we agree when you go to look at the miami why does that matter though he's it's he's 40 why is it i don't get it what's what what is the purpose of comparing his best self to where he's at at year 20 because because if he's not no i'm saying that to say what's the point if where he's at now isn't bad i can see when you say a shell of himself it's like you're talking about it's like you're talking about vince carter in year 20 it's like you're talking about what uh what dirk novitski was looking like when he was in his last years in in dallas just like it's like what tim duncan was looking like at the end when they just like they're just like not even the player no more like they're just out there by name but they're not out there by like the like they can't really compete lebron still just won a playoff so he just he just he just sweat the team. He still carries in a way. To say that he's a shell of himself, that's like, what is that? What does that mean?
To be a shell of yourself and you're still better than 85% of the league. I feel like only you can say that about LeBron. What? That shit matters. Do you think there are 40 players better than LeBron James in the NBA right now? It's simple.
Do you think there's 40? The problem? No, but Fares, like you said, the longevity and fighting Father Tom and also he's on that minute restriction stuff and arguing. When? When? I saw LeBron diving on the floor.
What's the minute restriction? What are we talking about? I just want to know. When he came back from injury and they were easy. When they come back from injury, that's a nat everyone does that that's that's he they would you would do that at 25 you would do that you do that you do that as a rookie you would do that in year 15 you would do that in year 30 like it's like you you do slow you do slow roll your way back into shape because you don't have your lungs you do if you can if your team can handle it if your team needs you right away then maybe you can't but if you can do it you do it like what is what's why is that weird so you're saying that LeBron being a shell of himself don't matter. I'm not saying, because usually, typically, basically all the other times that we compare someone's shell, it's saying that the way they are now is way beneath the bar of average.
That's what we say when someone's a shell of themselves. It's like they're not even, they really can't even be out here no more. They're a shell of themselves. LeBron is better than too many people to be considered a shell of anything he's just he's just compared to a super athlete that he was when he was in year five yeah you're right he's not jumping over anybody anymore but i but i still see him getting bodies he's still be dunking on centers right yeah i mean yeah that's what i mean by a shell of himself like you you it's like yo a shell of himself lebron is he's damn near the best three-point shooter he's been his whole career it's hard to notice it until you watch his older games in Cleveland and stuff and he was just right you go back you're like oh he has lost a step but if you're watching him live he's like you said he's still his game is different though but he's still yeah that's what I'm saying I it's just I mean yeah I mean bro I just it's just like of course your game changes naturally you know saying as your athleticism dwindles yeah but we're I mean it's like you mentioned before it's like he's at the point where he's basically Tom Brady playing for the Bucs. Right. Tom Brady with the Bucs.
He's still good. He's still MVP caliber. Yeah. Yeah, I got you. You wouldn't say Tom Brady's a shell of himself when he went to Tampa Bay. Right.
That's what I mean. But Tom Brady wasn't an athlete, so people don't immediately think of it like that. They're like, oh, like as long as the arm's still there, you're just it's the same player because he never was a runner. LeBron used to jump over people and now he settles for jumpers. And I feel like that. That's the thing about Brady is that physically he did.
There was no drop off as far as because he was never physical. That's not it's like it's so unfair to even mention it because he wasn't an athlete. So, of course, there's no drop off for nothing. Zero can't go down a zero. It can't go lower than zero. I mean, he just ran a 40 at 40, what, 47, 48.
And one of the headlines is that he beat his younger time from the combine. But what I'm saying is looking at somebody who wasn't very athletic, of course they're not going to draw. You're not going to see a dramatic difference in their athleticism because they never really, that wasn't their calling card. LeBron's calling card is athleticism. So it's like, oh, okay. Oh, I see what you're saying.
You're saying that his game was never around athleticism. So losing, even though Brady didn't, he stayed consistent for where he was at. Right. I got what you're saying. Yeah. I got what you're saying.
Yeah, that's a good point. And he's a computer, you know what I'm saying? Like he just was so smart and he's seen everything now. That's how LeBron is. It's like LeBron's seen all your plays. unless you got a coach somewhere making up new plays that LeBron has never seen in the last 23 years. He know what you're doing before you do it.
All right, let's watch it, bro. Jacoby. Jacoby Lane. Yeah, bro. Hey, what do you think, bro? This went viral, bro.
I'm on the lane train. Hey, bro. Wait, that's β bro. What do y'all β what are you seeing? He looks fine. He's 6'4".
He looks fast. His arms could be tighter, but he's running a little like, you know what I'm saying, his arms are just kind of. But his arms just look gangly because he's so long. Bro, throw the ball up. I want to see what the catch looks like. I want to see is it with his hands or is it with his body?
What's the radius? That's what I want to see. Yeah, man, he's just running routes in the field. So, yeah, that's fine. Shout out to D-Hop for helping him out, though. I mean, D-Hop just talking ball.
You feel me? It's a lot of fans out here. A lot of people that just, you know what I'm saying, fair weather or, you know, casuals that don't really play. They don't really know what it takes to do the position. But they look at him like, oh, I don't like how that look. All right.
That's hardly. It don't say nothing to me. It just doesn't say nothing. But yeah, he a playmaker, put the ball in his hands. Looking forward to seeing him with Lamar Come on dog All right All right yeah show me yeah show me show me the show me the catches you know what i saying but if that if that the clip that go viral let's make another clip go viral when you see the comments what they say nah dude man nah i'm saying but we live in a we live in troll culture too yeah yeah yeah i don't feed into it no more because it's like people just be saying stuff trying to get likes the more the more crazy statements you say the more he will be like oh hell nah man what a pretty boy Fredo going can't wait to see you yeah like it's nah dude's mid what does that mean like that's just I don't know yeah that's just football talk yeah people still say that about Lamar correct correct Lamar he can't throw. You know what I'm saying?
He's a running back. Yeah, I got you. Yeah, so that's how I feel about that. Shout out to Jacoby. I still don't know the point of posting that, though. But.
What you mean? I don't know the point of him posting that. With, like, putting it in work. So the point of posting it was I think he thought he looked better than he was received. Right. I think he felt like his routes were and like what I'm saying, if I see a 6'5 guy, 6'4 guy moving like that, I'm cool with that.
That looks fine. Now, if he was 5'10 moving like that, I'll be like, yo, that shit's not sharp at all. I'm like, yo, he's looking crazy out here. Like, if I see Tank Dell moving like that, I'm like, that's nasty. But at 6'4, I'm like, that'll work. well you added you missed the word rookie rookie too right rookie yeah get him in there get him in there with some yeah he gonna get he gonna get in the get in the locker room with some with some head coaches with some with some position coaches and they gonna get it together alright bro so the next topic your boy Chris Moore we signed chris moore what you think about it i mean whatever bro the ravens the ravens still playing ravens still ravens still playing games they're not they they still are serious chris moore is very much like a uh that sound like a i mean to be fair though we did need a veteran presence in the locker room. That receiver room did need a veteran presence.
And it also kind of speaks to what they saw in OTAs. In OTAs, they got a chance to see Jacoby Lane and see Surratt, you know what I'm saying, firsthand. You know what you're getting in Zay Flowers. And you believe that you believe that Bashar Bateman is better than what he showed last year. I believe so, too. You know, I've been, you know, I've been a Bashar, you know, I've been a Bateman truther through all the injuries.
So if I think that that's what I think that's what the Chris Moore signing points to me. It just says that they're comfortable with the receiver room, but they did need some veteran presence, just like how Nelson Aguilar was just a nice little veteran presence to have in the locker room. You just want to have a guy that ain't neutral. So Lamar can lean on and the coach and the receivers can lean on. I think, you know what I'm saying, you could get Stephon Diggs, but he kind of got a lot of controversy around him. Debo Sam is still available, but I don't think we need that type of player.
He does something that we don't like. That's not really our game plan. and then um Tyree Hill's not healthy yet Tyree Hill might not be healthy until after Thanksgiving or even maybe even next season so with that all being said this was a cheap little stop gap and we still got you know because I think we are comfortable with the Zay at the one I think Zay's a one I think Zay's a one me too, me too for sure Yeah, so if Zay's a one You don't need to get a veteran To push him to be a one I need Brashad Bateman to step up and be a true two Though That's what I need Somebody needs to be a fucking two Whether it be Brashad Bateman Or what's the homie name The backup My man was catching all them passes Last year In college Taz Walker I forgot about Walker Yeah, so... This is just catching touchdowns and bombs. Yeah, so... Bro, and not getting back on the field. How you two for two touchdowns the plays, that's instant chemistry and trust with Lamar, and not get back on the field.
You know how. That don't make any sense. No, but you know what didn't make no sense? What? John Harbaugh. I don't want to get you started.
That's another question in the Ravens' head. If this dude, every time he gets on the field. He's making touchdowns and crazy plays. Why are he not on the field? Don't drop anything. Why is he in a box?
Why is he not on the field? Very confusing. We won't go to the receivers that are producing. We won't let D-Hop play. We don't know where what's his name? What's your boy?
Tyson Wallace. Tyson Wallace. He didn't even get no opportunities. And every time he got an opportunity, he produced. And we watched him produce every single time he touched the ball, and then they just keep taking opportunities from him. Man, I'm so sick.
I'm so done with John, dog. I can't wait. I can't wait until the New York Giants feel that. It's painful, dog. He sucks so bad. Yeah, man.
Walker is what, 6'1"? Is he 6'1"? Run a 4-3-6 athletic. Shifty. Yep. Is he 6'1"?
I thought he was a little taller than that. He's listed as 6'1", 198. Running 4'3". Okay. Yeah, he be moving. He be moving.
In college, they had him at 6'2". And a half. Oh. He looked taller than 6'1", though, on the field. He's strong. Yeah, he's 6'1".
And a half. okay yeah we uh let's see we uh i forgot about him though yeah so that that that puts us at you know we got three bachard walkins and zay and then you got two rookies that you feel comfortable that you think gonna be able to produce early right and then you and now you got chris moore in case somebody get hurt. Chris Moore might be a practice squad type dude, in and out. Yeah, he's going to be sometimes he's going to be a good special team or two because he wasn't really a starter in Houston or wherever else he's been. Yeah. He's a fill-in player. He gets 200 yards for the season.
For the whole season. When somebody get injured, he's there. You got hands. You know how to run the routes. Not elite athleticism, but a slot. A slot.
Yeah. We drafted him on some crazy draft. That was a crazy draft. Chris Moore was a crazy draft pick, too, for real. Looking back at it, they was like, yo, he's slow, but he got football speed. He gets open, though.
I was like, but he's slow. But that's exactly how you describe him, though. Like a slow kick returner. Yeah, he run a 4'6". He not getting behind nobody. And he move another.
They trying to throw him back. I don't know. It's deceptive. Yeah, he ain't got a touchdown pass in 10 years. Yo, going from him to Hollywood was a big jump. that was a big jump it was it was bro I'm trying to tell you I'm cool with the Chris Moore signing I'm cool with it yeah for sure if we're not going to get Stephon Diggs if you're comfortable it just tells me that they're comfortable with what they got because he's not challenging nobody He's not challenging Zay or Bateman or Tez Walker. You think Tyreek Hill is coming back in the league, though?
Yeah, for sure. I think he's coming back for him. And then, like we mentioned earlier this week, he still says he doesn't have any power in his left leg. It looks like he lost a lot of football muscle, just been working out in the pool, which is all you can do. Yeah. you think that it's possible for him to be back about the end of the season? yeah I mean he's got to get it right he's got to add that 4-3 speed to it alright so Tyreek Hill is a super athlete yeah you cannot guard him he's not he's not and he's also not he's also a super genetically gifted person like you cannot compare if he is vertical yeah you cannot compare his recovery wouldn't for most people they wouldn't return right but his he can if he wants to he runs you know say he runs a 10 second 100 yeah you know saying his 40 60 is crazy like he's he's a super athlete though like it looked like it It looked like he's working on it. He's saying he ain't got no power in his leg.
But him saying he ain't got no power in his leg isn't comparable to, like, if you said you ain't got no power in your leg or I say I don't have no power in my leg. Like, he said he ain't got no power in his leg because he's like, oh, I probably can't hit a 4-3 right now. But I could run a 4-4-9 right now. You know what I'm saying? So I think that he's just still ramping up in the rehab process. And he has unlimited resources to rehab.
And he has no job. So he just has 24 hours a day to work on, you know, say, trying to get back as healthy as he can. And he has like 10 kids that he had all in one year. So he really like has extra motivations because he cannot afford child support if he don't get back on the field. So I feel like he I feel like all those parts make it if he at the end of his career no he wouldn come back If maybe he didn have all them kids and Child Pool wasn about to kill him maybe he wouldn re But I think that him being a super athlete and have that motivation behind him, he gonna come back. Right.
Because he's at the age now where he could, you know, 32, 33 years old, he could not play anymore. He's already run Super Bowls. Yeah. I mean, if I'm trying to tell you, bro, if he had just, you know, while he was out there in Miami chasing 2,000 yard seasons, he ran for like 1,800 yards and he had four babies. It's like if he just would have chilled out, maybe it wouldn't be so much pressure to come back now. I didn't know that OBJ and Tyreek Hill were like one year apart.
Everybody make it seem like OBJ is so old, but he not. No, he's not old. We thought OBJ was still going to be in the league right now, for real. So when he played with us, he was like 29, 30. Like 30. 30? Mm-hmm.
But he just had all injuries, bro. That's why old is based around your body. If you don't get hurt, maybe old don't hit until 35. You know what I'm saying? like Derek Henry old but he older for football but he never got hurt right he never had like but not what's his name Odell he like broke his leg he tore his ACL tore his MCL like he had mad injuries rehabbing sucks yeah 100 passes 1500 yards that's like two seasons in one You know? And Poole. So when OBJ was catching up, you know, with the Eli, 100 passes, 1,500 yards, basically the whole offense.
Yep. That's a lot of words. Everything went left. He went to Cleveland. It's hard to shine in Cleveland. Then he got hurt.
Then he came back, played for the Rams, and ran out there on a bad ACL. No ACL. No ACL. and basically ruined his career. You know what I'm saying? Coming back from that, probably too difficult. Got a Super Bowl out of the dog, and he killed the first half.
He might have got MVP. He might have got MVP that year, yep. No, I mean, even when he was with us, he was a really good veteran presence for us that year. That was a year. Was that the AFC Championship game we lost? Oh, yeah.
Yeah. Man, we should have got. Oh, man, we should have won. We had a squad, bro. Hey, OB, just getting back to itself, too. I know, bro.
That was so sad, bro. I just looked at Al Jones. I just sent you the text message, bro. We had some bad beats over these years, bro. These beats are nasty. I'm like, dang.
Last year, hurt. The year before that, hurt. The year before that, hurt. We got Andrews not making catches. We got Zay Flowers fumbling. We got homeboy missing kicks from inside.
Yo. Hold up. Yo, yo, yo. hold up hold up hello yeah we back i know i'm talking but i was muted for some reason but my video of my camera's off yes back on okay i didn't even touch nothing that did that but yeah we we've had we've had a lot of a lot of bad a lot of disappointing losses even going back to the to the hubbard return when we had tyler huntley in there Lamar was hurt You know Speaking on our first episode Or the one we talked to We talked about like a couple days ago I was thinking about John Harbaugh's style In the preseason and when he doesn't Have a star quarterback He can pull out A game He can pull out a game Without a star quarterback More than any other coach With a backup quarterback he's still able to win with that basic game plan that he goes to when he knows he can't rely, you know, you know. So I mean, we was ready to break the record for preseason wins, right? We was like one game away. If we didn't break it, did we break it?
We had like 33 in a row. Mm-hmm. You know, and then So you got to give him that. No, I ain't giving him that. I don't care about that. I don't give him no damn preseason.
It still don't count. Who cares, bro? Who cares? Back up quarterback. I don't care, bro. I don't care.
But look, but that's the point. That's the main point. The main point is John Harbaugh's career has been being saved by the fact that I don't think there's any debate over, Is he above average in the top half of the league as far as coaches? Sure. He knows football. He knows his X's and O's.
He knows his stuff. But his ability to coach talent bothers me. He seems ill-equipped to coach well a top-tier quarterback. He's not matching that He's not as good He can lead somebody who needs help being led He can help them But when somebody's already good He don't really have no extra to give And that's why we see that He doesn't elevate nothing He elevates bad, but he doesn't elevate good That's what I'm saying So you say, oh, he handles preseason He handles backups Those guys aren't going to That's not how you win subos That's preseason, that's backup quarterbacks You win Super Bowls with superstar quarterbacks He has a superstar quarterback He's just bad at managing That's an interesting take right there He barely managed before We had Ray Lewis, he didn't have to Because he had Ray Lewis at A-Reed It doesn't matter what John Harbaugh says We run this locker room, we tell people what to do We put people in position, we win games John Harbaugh's just there, he's just like Good job guys You know what that reminds me? This is crossing sports, but when Steph Curry has the green light at half court and down, because the coaches recognize that he can do that. And that's the same thing wi But it's not.
John Harbaugh needs control. He's too arrogant. He can't handle a guy that's a monster of a superstar because he's not. He got ego. He's not just good. You know what I'm saying?
Like Bel Right. A generational. Yeah. He don't know what to do. and I can see a lot of coaches missing that because you're not going to have any experience with that you're not going to you know you're not going to have you know what you do it's real easy you just get the fuck out the way do what you can do and get the fuck out the way because you say yo I got a super I gotta let them cook I gotta get a game plan we gonna get it going I gotta worry about this over here But as far as letting him play, I got to let him be free because he's he's heaven sent. He saved my job. Yeah.
But every time we turn around, John Harbaugh got somebody else in a doghouse for what? For what? Why Lamar? Why Lamar? Why Lamar don't have all his horses? Why is Lamar being put in jeopardy because you won't rotate the offensive line?
Why are y'all not paying Lamar Jackson? Why are y'all not getting a wide receiver To pair with an MVP quarterback? Because his ego had him thinking That shit's fucking it up, bro What happened? What happened? What's happening? You got it?
What? You couldn't hear me? Is it working now? Yeah. I've been able to hear you. Nothing happened on my side.
Nothing happened on my side. No. Hey, what is this? What's happening? Let me see. I'm crushing all the buttons.
I'm going to hold it until we get it right, though. Yeah. Another thing with... So, I would agree with you on the green light. On the green light. You got to give him the green light.
There's... I don't know. I don't know. I hear you on that. I think that's a good point. But I also feel like Belichick kind of had that same problem with Brady as well.
Did he? It didn't seem like when they were 16-year-old. No. No, that's not true. Brady had the offense. Belichick had the defense.
Right. Sometimes. sometimes. Oh man. You know I actually pressed the wrong button. You're muting because it's my fault. I just don't know how to get you off.
What you did last time? I'm back. I'm good. I just hit my mute. Whatever you do. I pressed all the buttons too.
It's my fault. Okay. I can't hear you. You can't? Oh, shoot. We're going to have to end it then.
You can't hear me? Dang. We're going to end it. My mic is showing up. It's popping. All right.
We're going to end it. All right.
